Much better to scrutinize a private citizen, than the President of the United States?

You ARE aware these are emails form when she was an ELECTED OFFICIAL, right? NOT a 'private citizen'.

For a bunch of people who claim to not be Republicans, you sure do twist the facts to defend Palin.

You do realize what the date is?

Media will not mess with Obama, wishing the Weiner story would go away, Democrat economy in the toilet. Hey let's scrutinize Sarah Palin. Figures.

These were emails requested years ago.

"The media" didnt create these emails or their release date.

Why are you misconstruing events to deflect criticism away from Palin?

OP- ATS is full of Republicans-in-hiding who will deflect as much as possible from potentially damaging information to one of their party. This thread will be nothing more than people trying to make this about 'the media' or 'obama' or 'liberals'.

they will never scrutinize their own, or even ADMIT it's their 'own'.

I dislike how snooping in on other peoples private emails is celebrated here

How is it 'private emails' when she was using her email account to discuss official government business?

Somehow I doubt you will respond.

Sure. The poster I was responding to implied 'the media' released these emails, even though they were released by the state of Alaska and Palin herself has held up their release so her lawyers could redact key sections.

Clear now?

So their clever plan of only releasing the emails in printed form to keep them offline was foiled.

Who knew that reporters had access to document scanners.

your theory posted here implies palin delayed the release of these emails until now to deflect from Weiner? What would she stand to gain from that?

my theory is based on msnbc and the timing of the story anyway a person can look at this is a deflection tactic by a known critic who thinks sarah palin is a bigger news story than weiner.

But the 'timing of the story' wasnt dictated by MSNBC. It was dictated the state of Alaska and Palin herself. So your theory is a bit flimsy.

not really palin is old news msnbc has the choice of what news is "fit to print"

palin is a nobody at the moment shes not running for anything and shes not in charge of anything.

Palin arranged to have these released now to garner publicity for her current PAC-funded book tour, not "MSNBC" as you claim.
