What I found disturbing is how easily Weiner lied about it (check out his interview with Wolf Blitzer before he admitted to lying about it).

I think this is largely a non-story except for the fact that he continually lied about it. The next time you see a politician on TV talking "passionately" about something, just remember, they lie and they do it very well.

I think this is a preemptive move on his part to begin laying down his defense for when it is revealed that one of the women was indeed a minor.

How could he know the age of these anonymous women he chatted with, especially when he claims never to have met with them? I think that this story is still unfolding and will eventually result in his resignation.

So the man posted some pictures of his junk on the internet. I think if we are going to have a fit over something as minor as this, proportionally to their ill deeds half of the government should be burning at the stake right now.

Arnold was never a real Republican anyway. He was always a Rino and his disastrous term as Governator aliened him form both sides of the political aisle. No one wanted to claim his as their own, so that's why he had no defenders.

Of course not, because he got away with it. Now that he is out of office, no one is going to ask him to step down. So why should they get upset that he lied for 10 years, destroyed a child's life, and probably did some of that lying while in office. Pretty tough to be a governor, have a son no one, including the kid and his fake dad know about and not be lying about it.

But that does not matter. He was a Republican. He got away with it while he was in office. And his name is not as funny to little boys.
