Unless of course the attacker is in within 21 feet and the gun is holstered. Then your screwed. Also, if you ever need to cut a rope or string, if you need to skin an animal, if you need to cut down trees or split wood. Then you gun is useless. Don't get me wrong guns have their place, but they aren't good for much other than showing where you are and killing things. And the first one on the list isn't always a good thing.

Nice. Love your practical solutions to the limitations that guns provide.
That said, in response to the only one that makes sense, can a person back up quickly enough? I really don't know how well that technique would work. Especially if you trip.
