I am pretty sure the fabian society is a front for global state capitalism, not socialism! There is a big difference between the two but some people cannot accept this for whatever reason. State capitalism is when the big bankers fund the government and control all of the major industry as well as the means of production. I am not here to lie to people and I kindly ask people to accept the facts as they are. Socialism, NOT european state capitalism, is when a nation/its citizens/government are SOVEREIGN and when government controls utilities, major manufacturing, BANKING, etc. In other words anything important is owned and run by the government for the people.

I know what it is My brother is a Marxist and I lived in Massachusetts, home of the foremost Marxist scholars in the world.

Placing the group as superior to the individual and taking it that people will produce "for use" and not for profit completely leaves out the character of human nature.

We are a heck of a lot closer to being sociopaths than we are to angels! The basic human philosophy is "What's in it for me?"

Socialism completely fails because it never takes into account basic human selfishness.

Illusionsaregrander brought up the concept of "Reciprocal Altruism." In essence BARTER. That system has been working just fine since humans first came together in groups. If a person has not or can not contribute to the group, if he has nothing to "barter" then eventually he is going to get the boot. An old person will be supported because of the knowledge stored in his brain and the wisdom, a youngster because of his potential.

Shaw even said the same thing. If a person is of no use to society - kill him.

That is more of a communist mentality, probably stalinism, rather than socialism and it is especially not market socialism. You should know that I am just as much against communism as I am against capitalism. Fact of the matter is both are extreme and oppressive.

Socialists and communists stick together to fight against capitalism, because they are intelligent enough to realise globalism is all about transnational corporations and bankers colluding to screw sovereign countries out of their assets with all kinds of excuses.

Market socialism takes a little from communism and the rest from capitalism. Its a hybrid system and has almost nothing to do with marxism, lenism or trotskism. Its much closer to capitalism than communism since only banking, major industry, welfarism, schools, prisons, libraries, museums, parks are public and everything else is private.

Private property is extremely important. The day everything becomes public property(never happen) will be the day its not worth living. I want my house, car, vacation, wife, guns to belong to me and no one else!

Um, no. Do a little research. The federal reserve's top stockholders (which elect the board of directors) are composed of well-known, private U.S. banks; these banks are internationally owned.

It's not a big secret or anything, but the name is merely a smokescreen.

Well I do work on wall street. I am heavily invested in the tin/aluminum foil hat industry.

The unemployment rate is not 20%. You have no proof. Stop making up numbers. And wanting the death of millions of people and an overthrow of the government is not that smart.

And who do you think hold the majority shares in this private corporation? The same people who own a majority of shares in the big banks throughout the world. The banks may not vote but I bet the private stockholders do vote SECRETLY!

I agree but its all about state capitalism friend. I am trying to explain this to people but they seem to have a hard time understanding me. State capitalism is the final stage of capitalism where "the state" itself becomes a corporation of the super-wealthy. They run government for profit and their profit comes from doing as little as possible with our tax money and then pocketing the rest in untraceable offshore bank accounts. This is the reason for shell companies, big private corporations(non-tradeable on the markets), trust funds, anonymous banking, etc.

Its a pyramid scheme that has nothing to do with socialism and/or communism. Even the wikipedia article on state capitalism is for the most part mispresented, except for the first paragraph! I don't think we ever had true capitalism, socialism or communism because the nations themselves are not sovereign.
