Geomagnetic Level at 6KP! Will an Earthquake Happen Tonight?

A FEW MIN AGO I WAS TYPING ON ANOTHER TOPIC AND THE GROUND WAS RUMBLING A LOW LOW FREQUENCY. IM IN TEXAS, AND DO NOT LIVE HERE. RIGHT ON THE GULF.

I STARTED TYPING THAT THE GROUND WAS SHAKING IN A DIFFERENT THREAD. COULD HARDLY FEEL IT, BUT IT WAS THERE. NOW IT IS QUIET

I am also in Texas...woke up a while ago and wanted to get on ATS for some reason...according to around the time you felt/heard rumbling my cat was sitting here frowning and looking around at what I thought was nothing...wonder if he sensed the rumbling?

ha, maybe! justtt maaaayybbee!

a train went by earlier, it was different from that. The train had like a pattern to it, and was not as low.
i have felt things like this before, so im sure its "normal"... just wierd!

Another two words: Solar Wind.

There is some evidence of a relationship between this solar activity and earthquakes but the research is in its infancy.

So on the 29th in southern Minnesota there was a 2.5 earthquake (very rare).earthquake.usgs.gov...

I don't know how to copy screen shots to the thread, but major sun activity going on. I've never seen the kp graph at soho RED, yellow only twice, but never looking like this. Or the electron flux taking sharp dips like that. I've only been watching these graphs since Japan eq but this doen't look "normal" to me.

I went to your link and the archive for yesterday 4/29 end of the day, plasma temp & density started spiking just like on 3/10/11 archive.(Japan earthquake) and today is still spiking. I don't know how to do screen shots to post to thread.

My son also lives almost directly on top of the New Madrid fault line. He worries when anything happens anywhere near to it. The real problem is not if or when it will happen but rather how bad it will be when it does go off again like it did in 1811/1812. And it will go off again, we just don't know if it will be today, tomorrow, next week, or in 100 or more years.

For anyone who still does not know what happened on the New Madrid fault in 1811/1812 just Google it and if you live anywhere in the 8 state area that it would affect it will scare the shizzle out of you.

Of course I'm rediculas and this is probably impossble but it seems that Austraila is going to be hit by something from the Indian Ocean instead of the Pacific Rim.
I live on the Ohio River near the New Madrid (on the Mississippi) Fault lines and every couple of months I don't know if they are quakes or the mines but we have some miner shakers.
Also thanks for the Sun info folks I just hope that the tornado I just watched there stays there we've had too many in our area lately
Hmm.. for some reason even no activity is being shown there I'm feeling Austrailia, Indian Ocean for the next big quake I am NOT predicting this just a feeling
