So you "fear it's a fake" and the "truth may never be known at this point", but your thread is titled as if it's a fact that the BC is fake. Tell me... HOW can you be looking for the truth, when you've already got your mind made up??

As you said, the truth will probably never be known. So what is the point? Move on to more important issues. This crap is beyond ridiculous at this point.

Birthers have a right to defend their views as do non-birthers.

I am a seeker of truth and facts also. But for the BC to come out years after the fact....first it couldn't be found, then it was found but locked in a vault....after millions of dollars spent to hide Obama's records.

There is a different between opinion and facts and "Birthers" tend to ignore evidence and prefer to grasp onto false documents that "Barry Soetoro" is from Kenya or Indonesia or even the fact that he can't be president because HI isn't a state.

C'mon this is rediculous.

I'm frustrated at debunking the same old crap when the OPs and a lot of others choose to ignore the real facts presented to them.

And your video says naturalized not Natural-Born, so let me respond, a little research into the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES would have shown you that the term is NATURAL BORN not Naturalized. ( I think the Constitution is making fun of morons that can't read) Let me show you since you want to use youtube I will use Findlaw... I am even going to use an idea that thinks the Natural Born Clause should be repealed, you don't repeal that which does not exist. Article 2 Section 1 check it out..

Why ask for proof if you're just going to deny proof once it's shown? I don't care about the guy either but it seems like now that he's shown more, which is what has been demanded, it's going to be said it's fake no matter what.

I do not hate anyone, my faith says I can't so I don't. I do not believe the President was born in America and I do not believe he was ever eligible. I was letting the poster know that the comments at the beginning of the video (where Obama says he was born in Kenya) was an edited video created as a joke by a internet user that was making fun of Birthers.

It's all a bunch of Hooey.

I Agree with you on that it took awhile.

One thing we have to remember is that he didn't want this to be newsworthy. He considered it a non-issue.

I did NOT say my link was a hoax, I asked how I hoaxed it? I said America has been Hoaxed. If I did then it is a typo and my apologies. I take a lot of morphine and dilaudid for pain issues. I asked for someone to debunk the link and I also said I could give 15 more like it. I just saw another post where the document released was taken apart with Adobe Photoshop and illustrator and it looks pretty convincing that there are at least 3 documents in this release Link to Adobe post.

I have already stated where I stand and I believe when I say we will never know the truth I am correct. I really don't care anymore, I don't think the Mods are going to pull this thread as I asked and I understand why as it has grown, but I would love to see some real discussion on the points and not discussion about Birthers, Turthers, Racists, Liars and personal attacks.

My mind is open to any truth and I will accept any truth but how do you pull truth from chaos and confusion?

The source for the story in the link was an entry in a "Birther" blog that has since been deleted. You are welcome to believe anything you want, but there is no evidence to support the story from 2008.

It appears that Barack Obama’s official birth certificate actually reads Barry Soetoro. His named was changed from Barack Obama to Barry Soetoro when his mother’s husband Lolo Soetoro adopted Barack.

If he changed his name, that means the document reading Barry Soetoro is not the original. I have the exact same thing, my original with my birth name and name of my biological father, and a subsequent birth certificate with my step father's name (listed as father), my first name and his last name for me, because he adopted me. It however is not my original birth certificate. If he released this copy it would not be the original and we would still be arguing where he was born.

P.S. take a look at Obama his father was clearly black and not Indonesian, that much is just obvious

I don't think that is true. Your original birth certificate is never changed, it is only amended with the records custodian, social security office, or whatever state agency. They can never go back and change the original document.

This was my understanding regarding citizenship:

Legal Definition from December 24, 1952 to November 13, 1986:

(A) If, at the time of your birth, both your parents were U.S. citizens and at least one had a prior residence in the United States, you automatically acquired U.S. citizenship with no conditions for retaining it.

(B) If only one parent was a U.S. citizen at the time of your birth,
that parent must have resided in the United States for AT LEAST TEN YEARS,
and AT LEAST FIVE of which had to be AFTER THE AGE OF 16.

His father was not a US citizen at the time of his birth:

"When Barack Obama Jr. was born on Aug. 4,1961, in Honolulu, Kenya was a British colony, still part of the United Kingdom's dwindling empire. As a Kenyan native, Barack Obama Sr. was a British subject whose citizenship status was governed by The British Nationality Act of 1948. That same act governed the status of Obama Sr.'s children":

British Nationality Act of 1948 (Part II, Section 5): Subject to the provisions of this section, a person born after the commencement of this Act shall be a citizen of the United Kingdom and Colonies by descent if his father is a citizen of the United Kingdom and Colonies at the time of the birth.

I have two original birth certificates. My mom saved the first just in case something required it, but my current b.c. lists my step father as my biological father, this was done in the great state of Indiana when I was 5.

That is correct. My mothers name is spelled wrong on mine. It cannot be changed. Has lead to problems with social security if I forget and do not use the incorrect spelling as on my original.
