If you've never heard of overtone singing.. Now you have.
It's magic in the most literal sense.

especially from 2:32 onwards.

You know, you know where you are with you, know where you are
With floor collapses floating, bouncing back and one day
I am going to grow wings

Beautiful.

This song has a great feel and and an interesting topic for a song.

Past Week - Beautiful glow

The song has some nice mellow melody parts and a great epic ending. The other songs are interesting too, if I understood correctly the song Aftermath even tells about a certain planet soon to emerge from the skies.

A song written after Chicago House producers visited the UK in the late 80's and saw the unifying effect of the House music they had created.

I even found a beautiful video version of the Past Week song, a bit different than the recorded version but with more visual side and a different musical version.

Since this thread is being pulled to the reggae realm, let me show my support.

I am eclectic when it comes to music. Most of us musicians started with classical probably when we were learning to play the piano. As the guitar comes, we go to rock and other modern forms. Then we become a bit complicated and tinker with brass and bass with jazz and derivatives.

Then we go back to basics. I know I have. ROOTS. Reggae so simple, it actually more like expressing oneself really. Drums for me nowadays. Dunno why... from the 3 keyboard and key pedal organ to drums. ( fretless instruments too complicated for me BTW.)

Like I said, basics. At first, I thought it was to basic to even bother. I was hitting the usual rock songs from Nirvana to FooFighters. Then to PuddleOfMudd then to Fuel. It was like a journey. Then to Bob Marley??? What the.

And now I'm here...:

You have to adore these kids. I thought it wasn't real then I saw this performance (be kind, the crowd isn't enthusiastic because it's actually a very tough area, robbed and hungry):

It's that kid! Talent - a spark of marley there i see i and i
