Thanks for the thorough answer, I was actually just walking around my apartment wondering what was really going on with Babylon, there's so many people, especially musicians from what I gather that are talking about it, well, more like mentioning it. And you get the sense that they don't really know what they're talking about.

I did know a bit just from being around ATS but you have filled in some answers I was looking for.

Will check it out. It's hard being an info junkie.. researching all the loose ends you can find on ATS is a ridiculous pastime, it would really require a lifetime of dedication. So many holy texts, so little time.

Babylon the great symbolizes all of false religion as a whole not just one form such as Christendom, Islam, etc. Here's why. Nimrod was in opposition to the God of his forefathers. The literal kingdom & city of Babylon was the hotbed & ground zero of every sort of religion established on the earth. This city worshipped anything & everything except the one of the God of the scriptures. When the tower of Babel was thwarted & the language of the Babylonians became became many those people abandoned the tower & took with them their pagan teachings with them. Babylon also used many idols & symbols that represented what their religion & what they worshippped.

Fast forward to our time, each religion has icons (idols) & symbols which represents a particular religion for example, the ank & the cross. These idols were around at the time of Babylon & are nothing that came about by the Egyptians & Catholicism. This is why the Bible finds is suiting to call all religion Babylon the great as a collective group for they all have their roots & teachings deeply inbedded from that ancient city.

The UN is made up of world governments. Each government has its own nation & because of this citizens of these nations are so respect, honor & pledge allegiance to them correct? Based on this analysis, one world religion is already in existence...it's called nationalism.

On the contrary. The UN will bring an end to religion as a whole. If you look close at religion they in some way teach that pagan religion taught & has been retained today by paganistic doctrines of ancients past. The UN is made up of the powerful that rule governments throughout the world. Each government has citizens & each government requires their citizens to respect, honor & pledge allegiance to them. Showing devotion to a specific government is called nationalism right? There you have it...the one world religion is here & it is called nationalism.

BABLYON HAS BEEN POLITICALLY ACTIVE

True, nearly every religious organization past & present have some form of relationship with politics, politicians & the political arena. They have either put them in their help to put them in their places of power such as in the case of Hitler & the RCC, backed them, endorsed them or opposed them & their policies. There's a saying that religion & politics makes for strange bed fellows. Remember this saying for it will have a greater meaning as I expound.

I agree with everything you posted. She (Babylon the great) has become morally unclean also by their dogma that's in opposition to the Bible. Example: some teach that their priests are not to marry but that's not taught in the Bible. The Bible teaches that the nation of Israel's Levitical priesthood & the high priest were allowed to marry a woman. (Leviticus 21:5, 7; 10, 13, 14) Some religions have resorted to doing the opposite of what the Bible condemns as in the cases of allowing the flock to & engaging in fornication & all kinds of immoral acts & behavior.

Instead of keeping themselves spiritual & morally clean to the God of creation they have adopted the attitudes of secular society thus committing spiritual adultery. Babylon the great has also prostituted herself by adopting governmental laws of the land & placing them above laws of the of God thus committing spiritual adultery. She figuratively sleeps with politicians & rulers (the kings of the earth) by using what she has with influence over the masses to get what she wants by means of favors for more influence, power & monetary gifts.

BABYLON IS REPONSIBLE FOR BLOODSHED AND WAR

False religion as a whole in some way has played a role in basically every war on earth between nations past & present. Tribal wars & political wars for the most stem(ed) directly or indirectly from religions such as Sunni/#e, Catholic/Protestant etc. Every battle fought in the Bible shows religion played a part in national fighting. The same religion will bless soldiers on different sides of governments in battles & wars by saying that the same God that both sides claim to worship endorses victory.

BABYLON CONTROLS THE PEOPLE

True indeed. the book of Revelation 17:1 & 15 says that the many waters that Babylon the great sits on are restless mankind from every nation, tribe, people & tongues. False religion has had a stronghold on people of all walks of life for centuries. Because of the power that government has granted her she has played both sides...the common man & political leaders. Because of this people have fallen in a drunk like state with the intoxicating liquor of lies that she dispenses through her adulteries.

KINGS OF THE EARTH ARE UNITED

The Bible tells us that world governments (kingdoms) are likened to wild animals or beasts as seen throughout the scriptures such as the empire of Greece or Macedonia representing the hairy goat at Daniel 8:21 & the two horned ram represented as a duo world power as each horn represented the Medes (Media) & the Persian empire at Daniel 8:20. World governments of the past have used beasts or animals to symbolize themselves. The beast symbolized the governmental realm as a whole with seven heads each represented a world power critical to human history. To discern which government fits these heads we need to see which world powers were spoken of in the Bible. Revelation 17:9-11 say that in order to determine these seven wisdom is needed. The verses says that there are seven mountains. Now the Bible also depicts kingdoms as mountains as Isaiah 2:2 shows. As we read further we see that these mountains are also kings or powers. Each top world power eventually fell & was replaced by another top world power. The Bible says that 5 have fallen. These top world powers were:
1. Egypt
2. Assyria
3. Babylon
4. Medes & Persians as a united world power
5. Greece

The Bible at Revelation 17:10 says one ''is'' or was in existence. At the time of John penning this the top world power that had toppled the 5th king or power of Greece was Rome. So the 6th king or top world power was Rome. Only one true world power can dominate the world, true there might be a contending power, but only one has supreme dominance as in the case of the 5 that had fallen & the one that existed in John's time which was Rome. The Bible however said that 6. Rome was to fall just like its predecessors. The identity of this 7th & last head of the top world powers has caused for many mis-identifications. Some have said that the Holy Roman Empire was the 7th but this can't be so because it was part of the 6th head. Also the Holy Roman Empire was not a top world wide political force. The Holy Roman Empire was a religiously pushed authority which would fall under false religion. Which ever this 7th head is it would be in existence in our time & the time of the end to which the HRE is not.

Each top world power from the 1st to the 6th gained & increased its territory while in rule. Rome was the greatest world power of its time. There was a kingdom or government that came into power. This kingdom is said that the sun always rises & sets on territory of this power. It was Great Britain. Great Britain became the most powerful & influential power after the fall of Rome but its power gradually came. This 7th head of the beast has 2 horns. What or who are these horns? We know that the 2 horns of the ram in Daniel symbolized the Medes & Persians serving as a united world power. So the 2 horns on the head of the 7th head represents 2 united powers that makes up one body. The second horn is the United States of America. How do we know this to be? The Bible says that this last head will be around when the destruction of Babylon the great comes to be. (Revelation 17:16, 17) Both Great Britain & the USA serves as a united top world power over all other powers of the world. Once under the rule of Great Britain the newly formed colonies broke free to become its own nation which prospered independently. The USA did not fully become part of this duo until WWI when it joined forced with Great Britain with its military & financial might. This 7th head will not last long because the Bible said that it will only be a round for a little while.

THE UN COMPLETELY DESTROYES BABYLON

How did the UN come to be? The Bible tells us this. Revelation 17:8 speaks of the beast, which you saw, once was, now is not, and yet will come up out of the Abyss. Look very closely at what is said next at verse 11: The beast who once was, and now is not, is an eighth king. He belongs to the seven. What is this beast's identity as to coming from the 7th head of the beast that was not & goes into the abyss, but yet comes out of the abyss?

The league of Nations was brought into existence by the 7th head & 2nd horn of the beast, the USA dreamed of a united world nations by president William Taft & realized with president Woodrow Wilson at the start of the 20th century. It was formed & claimed to do what the Bible says only God's Kingdom can do which is to be man's only hope for true peace & security to end all wars & to create a unified world after WWI in 1920. However, the world nations were reluctant to do so the by proving to be incapable of what they claimed of achieving. After 26 years the League's failure to prevent war breaking out around the world which triggered off WWII League fell apart & went into a state of nonexistence. Would it stay in a abyss like state? Just as the Bible prophesied it came out of the abyss. In 1946 at the end of WWII it became the United Nations.

The UN has even go as far as to say that they are God's agents to make this happen, even having a statue in the site if a man beating a sword into a plow with the inscription of Isaiah 2:4. Actually the beast will give power to this 8th & final king to destroy religion. (Revelation 17:13, 13) The UN will be granted great power by the world governments to do their bidding on destroying religion once & for all stripping her of everything. (Revelation 17:16, 17) We have yet to see how this will be done but the UN's backers have a lot of ammo to make it happen & religion will only give the beast more ammo.

THE UN IS SHOCKED OVER THE LOSS

God Almighty will have put it in the hearts of the UN members to accomplish his purpose. There will be 2 great forces of the world that will mourn her loss. World governments (kings of the earth) will mourn her total destruction as if by fire which means complete. Revelation 18:9 & 10 says they will weep at her death because they shared with her (religion) in her great wealth & luxury. Because the world would be for the first time without religion the kings of the earth will be terrified because of the situation.

WHO ELSE WILL MOURN HER?

Who are the merchants of the earth that will also weep at religion's destruction? Are they the banking institutions? Revelation 18:11 tells the kind of relationship religion has HAD with the merchants. By examining this we will know the identity of them. Revelation 18:11-13 says the merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her because no one buys their cargoes anymore. cargoes of gold, silver, precious stones and pearls; fine linen, purple, silk and scarlet cloth; every sort of citron wood, and articles of every kind made of ivory, costly wood, bronze, iron and marble; cargoes of cinnamon and spice, of incense, myrrh and frankincense, of wine and olive oil, of fine flour and wheat; cattle and sheep; horses and carriages; and human beings sold as slaves.

Does the banking institution make a profit from selling merchandise? No. The banking system makes profit from holding currency, lending money with interest attached so the merchants cannot be the world system of banking. Who are they? They're none other than the commercial industry! We see that they sell to the religions of the world, banks do not sell things. Banks may deal in precious metals such as gold, silver & jewelry but what about the rest of the inventory? Banks don't sell possess such things but commercialism does. What do the commercial industry sell? They sell everything in these verses. Religions worldwide makes extravagant purchases to furnish their places of worship. They purchase the finest of linen, jewelry, precious metals, bronze, marble & iron for their statues, fragrances to burn, wine to certain observances, olive oils & the other items were mainly purchased in biblical times. Trade & commercialism's main route of transport is made by exporting across waters. This is another identifying mark that Big businesses in the exporting industry will be the ones mourning her loss. (Revelation 18:16-19)

Interesting information to also add is that when religion will be done away with Revelation 18:22 & 23 goes on to say that no more music or instruments will be heard coming from religious institutions, no more builders & craftsmen will decorate them, no light will illuminate buildings for their doors will be closed, no more laughter of brides & grooms with their marriages taking place there.

RELIGION WILL NEVER RETURN

God's word clearly tells us & warns us that because Babylon the great collection of false religion is a killer of the holy ones & his prophets & not his true agents of pure worshippers & is a prostitute . God's word tells those who are affiliated with this imposture & counterfeit to get out of her! Another stern warning goes out saying that those that continue to dwell in false religion will share in her fate if proper action is not taken. (Revelation 18:1-24) Religion boasts that she can't be touched. We see this comment today as religion has meddled in the affairs of world politics. They have waged campaigns & rebelled against the kings of the earth by blocking & protesting politics on such issues that government will eventually pass into law. They have been told since 1954 to keep political affairs out of their places of worship, not to endorse political candidates, not to speak of politics from the pulpit if they wish to continue to enjoy a tax free exemption status under the 501 (c)(3) law. Every year since 2008 religious leaders of Christendom get together for an event called ''Pulpit Freedom Sunday'' to defiantly disobey by challenging the government with taunts on speaking on & influencing their congregants by proclaiming what political candidate they will vote for, video taping the event & sending copies to the IRS.

False religion boasts that she can't be touched. They have now started to sign a document opposing civil marriages called the ''Marriage Pledge'' to which they will not sign a marriage license issued by the state no longer being agents of the state. False religion boasts that she can't be touched. They have turned their non profit declaration under the 501(c)(3) as not to profit organization into a money making machine by amassing enormous personal wealth. False religion boasts that she can't be touched. Government are now labeling them as extremists. The writing is on the wall & Babylon the great's time is running out. Once she's gone...she's gone for ever.

Based on people not following religion her waters (the people) are drying up. More people are tired of following her & becoming more secular. This will give the UN more leverage to put her to an end because her once backers are gone.

Yes, the attack on religion has started.

1. They are now being made to compensate for the sexual attacks on people.

A deputy sheriff I was in the reserves with and a former Chief Deputy - slash...... State Police supervisor both had extra-marital relationships with local govt secretaries. The state police supervisor had a relationship with his secretary.... whom was also the wife of a former city chief of police. Religion is just about gone to some people.

Some people do wrong and it is accepted.

I feel like religions keep millions of people busy and out of the way. Why would they ef that up?
