I would hope it would be realistic , which would include older folks, handicaped people, ie.; blind, deaf, minus a limb, diabetics ect. all want to survive or is it just survival of the fittest ?

KEEP IT REAL.

I dont think Nomad Survivalism would fit into there mindset.

But its an interesting thought.............but to cut to the point....is there a payday involved?

In the land of conspiracy theorist i doubt many of the knowledgeable ones will come out to show there homes and goods. A great alternative is showing how to survive in remote areas in a long term sense think man vs wild long term. So building shelter's that last through weather farming, hunting, gathering, creating, clothes, how to defend your shelter, basic medical.

I would actually much rather watch a show like this than a show that'll possibly tarnish a survivalist image making us look like radicals when in reality were just prepared.

Nor mine: Stock up on enough liquor and cigarettes to barter for whatever you need.

And if that doesn't work... well... we got booze and cigs.

With all due respect sir,

There are survival & prepping sites that would be far better to draw from.

People who live the life daily and practice what they preach, not just play out "What if" scenarios.

No offense meant to people on here but there seems to be few real experts and I have been doing it for 25 years.

There seems to be a lot of people wanting to learn and that's good.

People who prep seriously keep a low profile and wouldn't want to be on TV.

My sentiments exactly as far as not wanting the publicity.

But then again it could be a really fun and wild weekend.

Just don't do it in your own home. Do it in Libya, and

make sure the set is provided in the contract and you agree to appear and provide the know how.

Bite the head off a rattlesnake, pit Viper, Sand Boa or whatever.

Tell them that the antidote is 4 shots of Jack Daniels.

For Dessert, fire off a few RPG's at the Camera Crews Rides.

Run Like hell to your transport out of there, leaving them to create a Real Documentary on Survival .

What a Blast. Now That's Entertainment American Style.

Or maybe they've already learned thru experience, that the mainstream survivalist would just scare the hell out of everyone. Especially the crew ! Grenade pin pull'in $^&@!
Rocket launch'in, gun tote'in, bullet grab'in, curtain climb'in back pack'in Jack boot wear'in heat seak'in.

If people go on TV saying, this is my name, this is my street and my house and this is all the stuff I have in my house, and this is what I plan on doing with it in a SHTF scenario, they're crazy. It won't happen for them, and I think most people here who actually prepare are smart enough to realize that.

But that doesn't mean that it wouldn't be impossible to show people what you have learned (I personally think fighting skills would be completely relevant), or how you plan on making it through the jungle once you don't have a home anymore, if that be the case.

While everyone else is running around screaming and panicking after an earthquake or something, what are you doing differently that is more likely to ensure your survival? You don't need to give away every detail about yourself in order to share that.

As long as the show isn't all about how much people have stocked up in their homes, it might be okay.

Brits also, we're left out as usual.

I think it's high time survivalist/preppers were shown on the msm. Too long have the public been drip fed the bs now it's time for the balanced ways of survivalism to be shown.

I think a group would be best.

Someone like Starchild would be the guy with the coolest toys, but maybe too hardcore.
Someone like Angry American, Libertarian, Desertskies, Spartan King Leonardus, plus a few preppers would be good.
