Not good news from bbc live update site:-

UK nuclear expert John Large tells the BBC that the wind direction off the east coast of Japan is moving round to the south, which could take any radioactive plume from the Fukushima plant over the Tokyo region

5.2 aftershock back to the north again.

I posted right away because it looked huge for a second, but once all the data came in it proved to be another "normal" 5+ aftershock.

If there is a meltdown in any of the reactors, will they be able to evacuate the areas or even return to them ever?

This keeps going through my mind. I am praying for these people and I am not a praying person.

GUYS!

Radiation cloud might hit U.S. West Coast:

www.prisonplanet.com...

Looks like this is what we need to protect ourselves at least partially from the radiation cloud coming to the west coast...

en.wikipedia.org...

Scroll down to Historical use and analysis:

Following the Chernobyl nuclear reactor disaster in April, 1986, a saturated solution of potassium iodide (SSKI) was administered to 10.5 million children and 7 million adults in Poland[22] as a prophylactic measure against accumulation of radioactive iodine-131 in the thyroid gland. People in the areas immediately surrounding Chernobyl itself, however, were not given the supplement.[23]

With the passage of time, people living in irradiated areas where KI was not available have developed thyroid cancer at epidemic levels, which is why the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) reported “The data clearly demonstrate the risks of thyroid radiation...KI can be used [to] provide safe and effective protection against thyroid cancer caused by irradiation.[26]

Weather model:
www.stormsurfing.com...

Go out and get POTASSIUM IODIDE; APPLES AND ORANGES(high in pectin, can cleanse radiation from the body).

The power of the Tsunami left me speechless and this was just from a video from a helicopter, can you image what it was like on the ground.

The reason?
