Right. The enemy isn't minorities living in our midst, it's terrorists that want to come here and give us some action. It's russians and chinese that want to thwart our interests abroad so they can spread their communist ideals. And so on. Sometimes when faced with a large foe, you have to ignore the smaller ones. If you're racist yourself then it's best to keep it to yourself for now because like i said there's a guy that wants to blow you up so don't waste time on things that're not productive.

Yes and No. You've got to see this for what it really is. It is an assault on the public as a whole. It stirs up hatred and strife between races and cultures. As well as political ideologies. But most important, it maintains division among the people. Because as long as we're divided, we can't come together against a common enemy. The enemy being those who perpetuate this division to begin with.
Don't give them what they want. There are enough people who do that already.
If a minority wants to serve, let em!

In relating the story of a fallen soldier, Powell echoed the immortal words of another patriot who, in 1863, stated "that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion -- that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain -- that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom -- and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth." The fallen--those who perished on 9/11 and the men and women who've died serving in Afghanistan and Iraq--in the words of President Abraham Lincoln "shall not have died in vain," so long as we, regardless of race, ethnic origin, and faith or no faith at all, work together to promote our right of life and liberty for all people. And in doing so, we'll honor the memory of those, like Kareem Khan, who "gave the last full measure of devotion" so that we may all continue to live in freedom.
