When the people of Haiti pay taxes and pump gas... they don't have blood on their hands.

and at least the people in libya know how to have a revolution...

I use to post here at ATS all the time... and then I realized there are so many good posters here that I just became a lurker. This is the greatest forum on the internet... there is no doubt about that.

Anyway, recently I got in a argument about 9/11 with a family member and suddenly it dawned on me... There is no hope for this country. Yes, people are waking up, but not the right people. I don't care if somebody like Charlie Sheen is awake... I need somebody like Michael Jordan to be awake.... somebody with some credibility.

The 9/11 truth movement lost... We failed.

And because we failed, I'm going to do what somebody suggested and leave this country, and when I leave, I don't want to come back, and I don't want to move somewhere close to this place like Canada or Mexico. I want to go to somewhere far like Germany or Australia... just get me out of this nation filled with sheep.

I don't want to pay taxes to fund this military, and I don't want any American corporation to make one more dollar from me so long as the official story of 9/11 is supported by the masses.

This county just flat out sucks... the other day I was watching the Oscars and I was literally sick to my stomach.
We are a nation that does nothing but worship idols. Look, i can go on and on and on... I'm sure this nothing new to ATS... I just need a place to vent right now.

Again... thank you ATS for letting me know that not everybody in this country is blind... but the truth is all we are doing is talking, we aren't doing any action... Well for me personally it's time for some action. Enough Talk already... and unless somebody can convince me otherwise, the only logical action to take right now is to pack my bags and leave this country for good.

thanks for reading.

I want to leave this country too, but I'd have to do it on the down-low or there would be consequences if I was caught. I have no idea how to get out of here but I'd like to go somewhere that isn't america...

I am truly sorry for you, that you have realised this.
It must be a painful thing to finally admit to oneself - I know it was for me when I found out that I am nothing more than an expendable 'Cog' in a great 'Machine'.

What you must realise though, is human psychology.
Many do question things, but to find and accept the answers to some of these questions means a total upheavel of the comfortable life so many are used to. If one truly accepts that their own government can so easily kill its own (the UK does it too) for nothing more than material assets that substantially increase the wealth and power of a few, then where does one go from there?
Sure, they can do as you intend to (well done!) and leave, but many people fear such drastic and life-altering change - it's a psychological barrier that not many consciously know how to avoid.
So, for many it's far easier to just live in denial, as to accept the reality could be too much to bear.
Denial is a very powerful tool.

But yes, the attitude of many stinks...mainly due to the attitude being one that is actively promoted by the respective establishments.
My brother-in-law is a high ranking, respected officer in the military and he considers that even babies and children of "The Enemy" are worthy of being destroyed/shot/blown up...this attitude is deliberately bred and is not limited to just the military. How else could one kill or allow the killing of an 'enemy' unless they are considered less than human.

What gives Michael Jordan credibility in these matters? Just sayin'.

You're part of the problem - that Americans put too much stock in their celebrities and sports heroes than in real issues.

In the 30's through the 60's, scientists such as Einstein and Von Braun were treated like rock stars. Now, many kids would be hard pressed to name a single Physicist or Mathmatician of national note.

Michael Jordan is credible to you? Give me a break!

IMHO Europeans are much more civilized, free, down to earth and consciously awaken than us North Americans.

Europeans are FREE in your opinion? I love the drugs you're on! You likely have this outlook because American MSM rarely reports on any issues from Europe, or for that matter outside the United States.

UK has more CCTV cameras per capita than any other country on earth.
France pays some of the highest taxes in the world to pay for their social programs.
The price of gas in most Western European countries is TRIPLE what it is in the USA.
Income taxes are higher in general in Europe than in the USA.
Unemployment is higher in general in Europe than in the USA.
National debt as a percentage of GDP is higher in just about every country in the EU than the USA.
Centralized Government in Brussels over the entire EU needs no other comment.
National governments have less and less power each year over their own affairs, having to defer to EU laws.

These are just many truths about Europe, and you think it will be better? Enjoy.

Personally, glad I live in Canada. I left Europe 20 years ago and will never go back permanently, although I do like to visit from time to time.

I sympathise with you but for heavens sake if you're moving from the USA due to the sheep like attitude of its people please don't think you'll find anything different anywhere here in Europe! We are all being manipulated and quietly put to sleep just like you Americans are... Maybe the best place to run to would be South Africa, a township miles from anywhere where you can just blend in and disappear.

I feel we share many ideas, i want to get my family outta here and having been trying to figure out where?

1. australia: no, too many things that can kill you and too much linked to the USA.
2. UK: no, too much control by the govt and nowhere to hide. scotland maybe, but you gotta be loaded to live there comfortably, too many third world muslims there now.
3. EU: not the main countries anyway. germany, france, spain, are not so good. Luxembourg, Belgium, Holland type countries may be OK but once again, gotta be loaded to be allowed to live there
4. Canada: too much seems to be heading towards a merge with USA
5.South America: banana republics are not very freindly towards americans, and they are mostly poor there.
6. africa: no way, enough said

Good thing you know not to come to Canada, we may be equally numb here. My parents are the only ones in my environment that are free thinkers. Most everyone else around me refuses to see beyond the little mundane things in life. Ignorant hockey loving zombies. I have dissasociated with everyone and am hopeful of a reset event for the human race. An event so important that those left will be forced to think differently. There should be a fair number of people like you and I quietly suffering among the mindless masses.

I couldn't agree more with you. I too, have had it with this poor excuse of a country. It's morally and ethically bankrupt, and spiritually void. The question is, where can we go to escape this cancerous society? The dollar is tied to everything, and the whores and prostitutes that we call politicians and lawmakers, are everywhere. Spreading their stupidity and self righteousness like a deadly plague. I want out of this system! I'll bust my way out if i have to. But where would we go? Men and women, everywhere, are dragging humanity into a bottomless pit.

Hey Elite! You're going to be in a dark cold cell before long, you can take your useless money with you.

I've been thinking about possible bug-out destinations for quite some time. There's a lot to consider; how easy is it to be a hermit there, how available are utilities, how seismically stable is it, what's the altitude ("will it survive a pole shift"), what's the government like, how much control over it does the World Bank/IMF/etc have, is living off the land possible, is it legal to grow cancer cures there, do you speak their language or do they speak yours; there's so much to consider. I keep coming up with these possibilities:

1. Paraguay. They have the largest natural water aquifer on earth. They have high altitudes. They rarely have quakes. Their president may look like Dr. Evil, but it's as much a democracy as the US has. (And he has cancer, so once I got there, I could cure him and make the entire nation love me.)

2. Middle-Of-Nowhere, Northern Canada (not Nunavut; more like the Yukon, or even central Alaska). Way too cold for my tastes, but "safe" otherwise as long as you avoid the volcanoes.

3. Mid-Mexico. Very high elevations (cities at 7000 to 12000 feet), ineffective government (the best kind), but a lot of crime. Also has volcanoes, but most are extinct (not that they can't awaken). Very hot too. This'd be my least favorite place, but it's also the one I could get to the quickest (about 8 hours of driving). Driving to Paraguay across Nicaragua and Colombia doesn't sound fun.

There are a lot of places I know to avoid, too. ANY island anywhere, for instance. Any coastlines. Any fascism. Any earthquake-prone areas. The entirety of Europe and Asia. America (doomed) and Central/Latin America (too low; will be washed away). Australia/New Zealand (getting very fascist there lately). Northern Africa (currently under siege from the "liberation campaign"). I can't discount Southern Africa, long as it's high enough and nowhere near Uganda (huge volcano field)...

I dunno. Maybe there isn't anywhere safe. Maybe they've made sure of it. In which case.......... Come on, Rapture! But if the Rapture is real, what does any Christian have to worry about?

And THAT is why I stopped worrying about it. I'm not going anywhere. I'm here because this is where I was put, and here I stay until forces beyond my control move me from it. There might not be any hope of liberating America from its multi-national corporate oppressors, but they'll get what's coming to them.

Everyone will.

People like you are needed in America. Stay put. Prepare. Teach. Enjoy what you have.

Europe can be wonderful in its own way but has its share of problems too. If you were to go, Germany would be one of the poorer choices you could make. Czech Republic has far more freedoms (gun ownership, etc) and you won't get prosecuted for thought crimes. Switzerland has possibly the cleanest most accountable government. Stay away from the UK, the ship has sunk into the orwellian sea.

I say, good for you, it broadens the mind to travel and live in anothers country. If your from the states it will be interesting for you to see how other countries are and if you dont like what you see you can always go back, but with a greater understanding of the world had you not left. A win win situation. I would love to leave my country but unfortunately I need my national health service too much at the moment. If that wasnt the case I would love to try and live in another country. Spain would be my choice.

Do you have a plan in place? How are you going to make this happen?

Good luck to you. Hope you find elsewhere, what you don't think you are finding here.

Here's your hat. Here's your coat. Don't let the door hit you on the way out. And would you please renounce your citizenship formally? I believe there is a form you can fill out from the State Department. Then please give up your American passport. Don't fake it and hang out in a foreign country with an American passport in your bottom drawer.

Let your feet do your talking and really leave. Otherwise you're just all talk.

Bye bye.

I am sure a lot of people in the US have had this mindset in the past 10 years. The truth is, it is still a wonderful country but it is in decline and very few people seem to be aware of it. In fact all of Europe is in decline with the United States.

I was just coming to the conclusion that the cold war never ended it just shifted focus. The radical ideas introduced in the 20-30s took root and became established policy in the 40s and 50s. The policies were supercharged in the 70s and have now become a black hole which we cannot escape from.

Every bad ideas in the United States seems to have branched off from those failed economic policies. The United States would have collapsed long ago had it not been given world reserve status because it wouldn't have been able to sustain the debt its used to reach its level of growth. It is a the 'bubble'.

I think it was allowed to happen (a) because it would lead to the US collapse at the time of choosing of its enemies abroad and (b) the eastern / communist countries had dominance over their populations and could maintain them at below the poverty line for the foreseeable future.

I admit, it seems grim. The only way to restore prosperity and thereby unshackle ourselves from the police state on the rise is to restore our own sustainability in agriculture and industry. The corporations in the United States have become world citizens (ala the Network). I'm not a socialist but we need to correct our relationship with corporations and trade. There has to be a concerted effort to reestablish private ownership of industry and agriculture in the United States which employs Americans (and Europeans in Europe).

If we care about humanity, and supposedly we do, then why do we accept products from companies abroad which are paying their workers 50 cents a day and working 16 hour shifts? Force overseas companies to lose their cheap slave labor and we might be able to escape this. If not then we'll join them in becoming slaves.

I will forego the usual "Love it or leave it" type of response because i know how you feel and I understand your frustration. I have felt the same burning anger towards the situation being created for us in this country.

I just want to ask this one question - What will you do when there is no place left to run to?

Ignorance, poverty, fear, oppression - these are surely not new things nor are they unique to America.

Eventually you will have to either lay down and give up completely, or get yourself prepared and attempt to fight back. There is no other option as this entire planet is falling into the same traps, and soon there will be no "fight or flight" option.......only fight or die.

What better place to fight or die than here in your home, along side your own country men, fighting for the things that you believe in?
