I'm an older guy so "trust me." That's not a bad list. AC/DC, the earlier stuff, music sucked after Back in Black. I've got to go on record, I hate the Stones, and I was born before their first hit.. Boston, it's 1 guy, a lot like late Pink Floyd. Fleetwood Mac is pop, not rock. The rest is good. Espescially Queen, my personal fav..

Older music that will grab you by the........
Jethro Tull
Uriah Heep
Black Sabbath, and by extention Ozzy
Deep Purple

Newer tunes,
White Stripes
Our Lady Peace
damn near anything that came out of Seattle in the last 15 years. Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, etc.

Then there's only Kid Rock, Beasties, Body Count, the last being the best.

One of thie things that always amazes me with this topic here is how many people are still into heavy metal. I think that there is only one person that I have seen over the past 5 years that listens to it.

Well Jonna, classic metal, from the 70s and 80s is not really the same metal as todays metal.

Older metal was'nt really thrash, like today's. So your getting a differnt experiance listening to Guns N Roses compared to System of a Down.
