Thanks for the laugh! I had difficulty deciding if they were trying to be serious. Also, thanks for the FF7 track too, very ethereal and spooky.

This is probably what I would want to hear. I dunno the chorus its what I would like to say in my words if I could tell them it. So why not tell myself it.

ExCloud thanks for your input here...it's interesting to me that some people picked songs based on the mood; ie. happy, sombre, eerie...while others based on lyrics and song meaning.

@plutoxgirl: interesting choice, much lighter than most of the others listed here...guess you're not as sombre as the rest of us.

Hello avocadoshag-

Cool thread! I starred and flagged it.

Oh i absolutely love that tune. Its magic to me.
I could picture my soul flying with excitment into a new journey.
- transformation process.
Death is Never the end. Just the begining.

@Dark Master: thanks for the link...interesting choice, not quite what I expected from you.

@inthemass: thanks, the Doors are always perfect for slipping into the next world.

@Beavis: thanks for the Al Green. Nice and relaxing tune for drifting away.

@LipanConjuring86: thanks for the follow up songs, I've never really listened to Breaking Benjamin before. BTW you probably know this, but to embed video from youtube only use the last code in their "embed video" string.

How to embed video

Manowar-The Crown and the ring

From a battle Ive come
To a battle I ride
Blazing up to the sky
Chains of fate
Hold a firey stride
Ill see you again when I die

High and mighty alone we are kings
Whirlwinds of fire we ride
Providence brought us the crown and the ring
Covered with blood and our pride

Heroes await me
My enemies ride fast
Knowing not this rides their last
Saddle my horse as I drink my last ale
Bow string and steel will prevail

High and mighty alone we are kings
Whirlwinds of fire we ride
Providence brought us the crown and the ring
Covered with blood and our pride

Odin I await thee
Your true son am i
I hail you now as I die
I pledge you my sword and to no man I kneel
Ours is the kingdom of steel

High and mighty alone we are kings
Whirlwinds of fire we ride
Providence brought us the crown and the ring
Covered with blood and our pride

Thanks for all the great song ideas ATS!

@uk today: Stairway to Heaven was always the last song at the highschool dances...very fitting for "the" last song.

@MrSion: The Doors are a popular band in this thread; let the Lizard King take you to the other side...

@Golithion: Most of the songs here are soft, melodic and warm...but you're going out with a Rebel Yell.

@Phantom Traveller: I've never heard the Manowar tune before; very epic.

@mr-lizard: The Clubroot is new to me too; I like the depth.

@LadySkadi: I haven't heard Eddie's solo stuff before, very different from the Pearl Jam era.
