KaiserSouszay, thanks for the suggestion; I love SRV and as usual with the great ones, he left us waaayyyy too early. Here's the song embedded for anyone else (easy instructions below the embed window).

TO EMBED VIDEOS:

Use youtube to search the song you want; then at the location bar (top of the page where it says www....and stuff) select and copy the last part of the url. For example, it'll say www.youtube.com/watch=and some letters and numbers...it's those letters and numbers you want.

Then, when you're typing your post, click on the button that says VID:YOUTUBE and paste the letters and numbers there. That's it. Easy.

Off topic and regarding your user name: I just saw that movie last week...excellent film!

Yay Porcupine Tree....
I don't know if I will be able to do a YouTube link, but my choice would be The C S Lewis Song, by Brooke Fraser, or I'll See You by Delirious?

Now to try to do links...

Vicky
C S Lewis song

It seems I can't find the Delirious? song by them, but only covers... Grrr... But here's the song anyway... (On the other hand, this may actually be them, ironically, because I am on dial-up, I can't see the video, I have to rely on titles
I'll See You Delirious?

Vicky
Too late, I read the instructions about how to embed videos! (Sadly, I don't know what many people's choices are, because of the dial up problem...)
If I get hit by a car, or am in a bus crash, I'll probably be listening to my MP3 player on shuffle/random, so whjo knows what my last song will be in practice?

Thank you for the help wow that is pretty simple and will indeed help me,thank you very much.

Yes SRV is one of the truly epic guitar gods, I would say I enjoy some of his other stuff to Riviera Paradise, yet it is so serene if I had my pick that would be the music I would take my final breathes to.

P.S. I've actually discussed funeral plans with my fiancee and told her this would be played at my memorial long before I seen this thread, not that I'm hopin to worry about that anytime soon.

lol I've always enjoyed the movie and just the idea of the Kaiser Souszay character.

so many for so many different occasions i think to myself.

for this moment in this specific time;

I've learned to lose
I've learned to win
I've turned my face against the wind
I will move fast
I will move slow
Take me where I have to go

I have to go

I'd want to hear every song I ever liked tbh lol

That's Easy!

"On the road home, got the radio on
And all the miles are running by
Like so many songs, you and I, on the road home
Thoughtless in our travelin', lovers in our soul

Oh, oh, the highway runs so clear
Oh, oh, the river from there to here
I'll tell you a story from the heart and from the bone
And I will tell you everything on, oh

On the road home, in the early spring
Locked up in my silence, alone with everything
But no, no, oh, you said no, no, no, no
And if you find the words won't come
Just you stand and sing

And oh, oh, the highway runs so clear
Oh, oh, the river from there to here
You know I love singin' it, the [Incomprehensible]
And now we've put the same on the road

On the road home, yeah, goin' home

On the road home, we see the yellow moon rise
And I feel what you are feelin' 'coz you see it with your eyes
You see sweet romance, your sweet love song
Standin' in that moonlight, two hearts can't be wrong

Oh, oh, la la la la, oh, oh, la la la la
Oh, oh, la la la la la la la la, la la

On the road home, I'm goin' home
Yeah, goin' home, on the road home
On the road home"
(song performed by Heart in the album The Road Home)

or, this one would do also.....

Given the choice, i would not be leaving to the tune of anything morbid or too deep...so i guess this would be an obvious choice...

Right on, brother! Metal forever! Nice choices you picked. Electric Wizard rules!

Other songs I would pick would be:

Octavarium by Dream Theater
Wheel of Time by Blind Guardian
As Fire Swept Clean the Earth by Enslaved
Die Young by Black Sabbath
Land of the Dead by Summoning
Ecailles de Lune Part 1 by Alcest
