If you HAD to change gender and race - What would it be AND why?

Lets just say that you are a soul and you have to choose your gender and race for the next body that you are born into and it can't be whatever it is now - you can choose the country too. What it would it be, and why? What would you want to do with it?

I would like to be a hunter/gatherer born into a tribal society in the Amazon jungle which has no contact with the outside world.
