It took the new congress about 84 minutes to read, according to CNN.

Did anyone else watch it? It was quite excruciating...you know, back in school when we'd all read aloud sections of a book without having the slightest bit of understanding what we were reading. That's exactly what most of those reps sounded like. Monotone, bland, stare at the page and recite. Ugh, no wonder the major news stations cut away for actual news during the reading.
