These people don't get at all! 1.5+ mil for vacation, while others in this country are losing their homes, business's, etc.......I forget the tally for Michelle's trip to Spain, I think I do remember 100K for security. It's an arrogance I don't understand. Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should do it. I was taught by my Dad at a early age to lead by example and don't ask others to do anything you wouldn't do yourself. I don't expect Obama sleeping in a cardboard box, but maybe he should to see what others are going thru. Most politicians are very out of touch with reality it's sickening.

So what you're saying is he shouldn't go on vacation because the country's in crisis? How about you don't go on vacation anymore either? How about Bush who spent more time on vacation than any president before him...during one of the worst crisis in US times!! Where were you then?

He is alloted 1 week for their Birthday and 1 week for the holidays as he needs to disconnect but things like his daily US Daily Intelligence Briefing and US National Threat Assessment reports briefings are to occur daily without fail, alteration, modification, amendtion.

Say he awakes at like 5a, he's got both briefing reports on his nightstand before the time he awakes and with his morning cup of coffee those are read and either approved, activated upon or cancelled. typically his work day is over by like noonish when he relaxes and chills until the mandatory late afternoon briefing.

Briefings are at wakeup, 8a, 1p, 6p, 10p. One occurs on the overnight and typically is handeled by authourized individuals.
