Sorry, but I can't remember the last time John even mentioned the stock exchange in order to talk down upon people who are active in it. Participating in the stock exchange is as American as apple pie. I don't think he's ever been anti-rich people either, to my memory. I watch him quite often. Going to a prestigious school doesn't surprise me in the least bit either. If he went to a community college, THAT would surprise me. I don't understand how he would fit into a conspiracy theory. On a couple occasions he has mentioned that 9-11 was NOT a conspiracy, which doesn't surprise me to hear him say either. Regardless if it is, or not, it's absolutely CRAZY to support truthers on television. Media suicide.

My sister does a whole bunch of new age hippy BS that I don't agree with. She also dropped out of college. Does that mean that I should follow in her footsteps? No, I went on to get an honours degree and I'm about as spiritual as a pine cone. But, she's still my sister!

How can you decry Stuart's beliefs because of what his brother does? They are not the same person.

Back in April, Bloomberg reported that "Jon Stewart" had a SECRET "OFF THE RECORD" meeting with Tim Geithner, ABOUT THE ECONOMY!

In the midst of debates on financial regulation and China’s currency in April, Treasury Secretary Timothy F. Geithner sat down to discuss the U.S. economy -- with comedian Jon Stewart.

Proof of that claim.


Now the main reason I am posting this thread, because it was a train of research conducted by other ATSers in another thread that was immediately thrown into the Hoax bin, so if I present it correctly perhaps this information can gain some traction and we can get a serious discussion going on here.

This other thread claims essentially, that "Jon Stewart" is the SPOKESPERSON for FOUNDATION X, the secretive group claiming to have all the $$$ in the world and offering to bail out all the nations of the world in order to "save our society from itself". This has NOT BEEN VERIFIED YET. So hold your horses a minute.

I am giving this theory credance though, because the source of that claim made 4 seperate TRUE and VERIFIED claims that ALMOST NO ONE KNOWS.

Who knew that Jon Stewart was actually Jonathan Leibowitz???
Who knew that his brother, Larry Leibowitz, is the COO of the NYSE??
Who knew that he attended the College of William and Mary in Virginia and majored in Psychology?
Who knew that he was having a secret meeting with Tim Geithner a few months ago discussing the Economy???!!

All of this information is starting to make the claim that "Jon Stewart" is the spokesperson for "Foundation X" seem all the more possible.

If anyone can verify the Foundation X claims please feel free to do so. Also anyone able to prove connections between "Jon Stewart" and the "Knights Templar" would be welcome also.

The thread marked HOAX where I learned these FACTS from, (and of course some unverified claims etc) is right here dying it's hoax bin death sentance.

its common for brothers to follow opposite directions in life, as any psychologist would likely tell you.

stuart doesn´t does a news journal, he dismantles the way news reports and journals are made and he does it by showing the ridicule options and news treatment the big news journals give to facts.

I think the dayly show its an import piece of our society, it brings a point of view that was not mainstream, it helps us to really see what´s behind the mainstream news. but of course its is not a news journal, its a show about the way the others make the news, and there is where the manipulation in our society is.

please check the news agencies, reuters, associatedpress, and the other majors. those are the sources of manipulation, weather by their will or by outside influence.

I have no idea what you are doing. The College of William and Mary is very well known - I even applied for their law school a few years ago.

NEWSFLASH - there is a restaurant near my house that specializes in Mexican-themed foods. Apparently, you can go there and exchange US currency for such things as tacos and burritos. Since when does having a BS in psychology make you an expert in the field? I have my BS in psychology from a comparable Virginia university and would not call myself an expert. Also, if I remember correctly, Stewart wasn't the best student. Outside of him and his brother, his family isn't well connected. While I'm not sure what his father does, his mother works for the Virginia school system.

It makes him an expert because the OP clearly has not attended college for any period of time. I have a BA in psychology. Doesn't make me an expert in anything except acing multiple choice exams. The OP is going nuts grasping at straws, and will likely start analyzing the color of the men's neckties soon. This thread is a big joke.

Now one would be concerned if Jon put the interests of Israel ahead of America.
It appears that this is the case.
If this is not apparent, then pay attention, it will become apparent unless one is compromised before they got started. I have little respect for folks who are programmed and aware they are programmed and yet choose to bide the line/will of another. Hmmmm I don't have to look much further then his show to plainly see he has a political agenda. Most likely a TV host will be a big front runner for office next time around, be it Colbert, Stewart, or Beck .
