Ok let's ask a couple of questions that hopefully we can get straight answers to.

1. Would Google Maps draw in fake lines to represent paths?

If so then this would explain the anomaly.

2. Is there a reason why there are two 5 pointed stars in Regents Park?

This would help me understand why the stars exist.

These are the two personal points i have been wishing to clarify, nothing more nothing less.

Thanks!

I think you're a troll, as I've already told you these paths exist, what with having been to the park and using them.

Why they are five pointed stars? Who knows, conspiracy, coincidence, practicality?

Anyway, I'm going to stop now. I don't feel like being laughed at anymore by the OP

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but it does not explain why these lines dissapear and reapear everytime i scroll in and out of the map with my mouse.

They are the only things that dissapear and then reapear in a split second as i scroll in and out of the map. Everything else stays where it is, indicating these lines have been drawn in.

Each to their own, however!

So basically, having said that I have walked down these paths, you are prepared to call me a liar?

1: google hasnt drawn "fake" lines we have proved they are are physical paths
2: the triangles were part of the original design of the park by john nash in 1818

repeat no anomaly

If you read my previous posts you will note i said that these stars could well be there. I am not questioning if they are there or not in reality.

What i am saying is that Google Maps have drawn parts of this star in. Possibally prior to them being laid. They could well have taken the images before the star was complete and then drew in the remaining lines.

This would explain the anomaly and address one of my two questions.

If I zoom out almost all of the way then the paths do start to become less focused, just with the entire rest of the map! Have you never used google maps before? Do you not realise this is what happens with google maps? The more you zoom in the more paths you see??

I would have gone already, but I'm fascinated by your opinion. I'm trying to work out if you're sincere or not.

Google Maps did not exist when the park was built. The "anomalies" you see are a result of the crappy quality of Google Maps. At least 2 posters have run on those routes.

It's only a few miles from my home, but I've never hovered a mile above it so I can't say I have noticed the stars before
