I would really hope the IRA is smart enough to not just bomb regular bank buildings and kill civilians, that will lead to less support because the media will have a field day with it.

id say if they were smart they would target these people directly, not just some buildings, but even if they killed all the CEO's someone will gladly take their place the next day, much like drug cartel operations.

I am not going to condone what they are doing but I am sure that we are all in agreement that our current judicial system is not punishing those for the crimes and so it falls on another to do so otherwise such robbery will go unnoticed.

When you pardon one offense you encourage the commission of many. We have pardoned them once, you think they will stop their antics? I hope that this sends the willies up them.

Banking institutions are corrupt and criminal in their methods, this is surely not up for debate. Who will watch the bankers because the law certainly doesn't!

This is a tough one. No one wants to support terrorism and yet we all know that the banks are the casue of most if not all of the pain and poverty in the world (along with terror and war etc.)

I don't advocate killing innocent people but it all depends how you look at it. If you did some admin work for the taliban or al ciada then you could easy be tried for aiding terrorists. You could even be tortured or taken out in covert means, all in the name of fighting terrorists. Bank employees, even though they are not aware, are aiding the real terrorists. If all those in banks and financial institutions resigned then the fat cats would come undone. If the IRA targets banks and this scares people into quitting and others from gaining employment then I would be a liar if I was vocal against it.

This of course is an oversimplified view and if it stirs indignation then you have missed my point.

So if muslim terrorists denote a nuclear bomb in NYC, killing thousands of people, it's okay so long as they were targeting a bank? Had 9/11 happened this year it would have been quite understandable and perfectly justified because some banks had offices in the WTC .....

I first thought this thread wa just an absurb joke and a taunt, just some idiots making chatter about something they know little about and are too gutless to perform themselves!

However, as I follow the inane utterances supporting terror here, I now see that the originator of this post, and a few clown followers supporting him here, are supporting the IRA idea of bombing banks; this insane action will only destroy the lives of countless more innocent people, the same innocent people that the"real clowns IRA" propose to avenge!

Why you ask?

Because, banks are the very underpinning of our Western societies, and like them or not, (and by the way I do not like what some bankers have done and do think they should have been arrested and charged and gaoled), however, if banks are destroyed, so is life as we know, and enjoy it, in the West.

To put it simply, for some of the more primative intellects here, you are supporting your own financial destruction, along with the depraved and monstrous idea of bombing innocent people!

You are supporting terrorism, which in my country, the USA and Britain, to name but a few, is breaking the law!

By your remarks here you are inciting insurrection, therefore you are also supporting and encouraging acts of treason and sedition; as the financial health of a nation is of supreme importance and is a matter of national security, an attack on the financial systems of a country is an attack on its government, a nation's security and its sovereignty

I started the thread, as it was an article I found and thought it might be of interest to the ATS community.

I didn't start it to endorse what the RIRA are talking about, I posted it as it was interesting news.

The discussion then kicked off from there.

Looks like the UK government are taking these threats seriously, with the terrorism alert being raised in response to these threats.

Irish related terrorist attach strong possibility

The threat assessment was increased after the head of the MI5 warned that dissident Irish republicans could attempt to mount a new wave of terrorist attacks on the British mainland.

The main targets as always are the banks, and government buildings.

So I suppose we wait and see now, if they go through with their plans.

I have respect for the IRA.

In the past, their bombs had killed innocents. But in recent times, their bomb threat had always came with a timed warning, so as to evacaute the innocents from the threatened vicinity, They are far more evolved than the insidious suicide bombers.

Destruction of man made hubric monuments is enough to send the message through. May the bankers start taking notice of the Irish threats if they value their monuments of scams. The organised IRA are not just talkers, but walk the talk, and fortunately for humanity, on our side.

It may be too late to plead or make claims of being 'ONE PEOPLE'. The Rothschild dynasty as well as the banking rich elites should have known better and adhered to that philosophy than to create slaves out of their own kind and humankind as well, and continued to do so even after the financila crisis. The IRA may had fought for their ow homeland in the past, but today, they will be fighting on behalf of humanity, for the many whom had suffered and are still suffering from the various instruments of scam by the rich elites.

The destruction of the rich elites/ pride and joy - the monuments of scams - will be finally taken down as a warning and a wake up call for their deprediations upon mankind, and may such messages be understood and end there without further escalation.

As mentioned, the IRA does not seek to destroy lives, but only the pedestals of scams, thus I implore everyone who works in the bank, from the bastard CEOs to the tea lady, to fully .comprehend evacuationg plans within the banks and surrounding areas, as well as to conduct regular ALARM drills, so that all may be prepared to be evacuated within minutes, which will be what the IRA will give.

PS: I have no links with the IRA, but will speak without fear and favour, as long as I can, as is my universal right. For too long, many had chosed to remain silent out of fear of being terrorised by the authorities. Did they explain how this will further the foundation of a 32 county socialist republic? I think anyone who is agreeing with them in this thread needs to remember that they are not doing this to attack bankers, they are doing it to attack the economic institutions of an enemy state. It has long been a tactic used by Republicans, this can be as big as blowing up canary wharf or as small as placing a firebomb in B&Q.

I think you all need to remember as well, that anyone connected to the bankers will now be considered a legitimate target, so the tellers/cleaners/delivery people etc. who could possibly get caught up in these attacks will be legitimate. A good example of this would be the pizza delivery man shot dead during the masserene barracks attack, a conspirator with the british state for delivering pizza to an army base.

It looks like the RIRA are trying to muster support from the INLA's supporters, the hardline socialist repulicans of the past.

Be careful what you wish for.

Join them. What kind of person lets someone els stand up for them. For starters I'm a 19 year old "stoner" I have a 94% average in school, and work part time at an after school program. I am not one to speak out to often or even to start confrontation. however, over the past 3 years I've learnt more and more about things such as Codex, the NWO, Bildaburg, project blue beam, Haarp, Police state, even noetic sciences and manchurian candidate. The more I learn the more I want to speak out, I've been reading lately alot about the globalization of poverty & NWO, as well as Black Water and the people ready to fight back in the U.S such as the Michigan Militia, now this summer I have made plans to join the Reserves Infantry Brigade specialize, hopefully in urban combat or search and rescue, but then transfer to Armoured to learn how to drive the tanks. I simply want the training, not to fight for my government but against it. Now I wouldn't go all out yet, simply wait to see how much comes true and how much doesnt. However like I said, join them, dont let anyone push you around. Not even a nation.

Why on earth would someone from Wales join the Irish Republican Army? As someone from Northern Ireland I really hope I understand the situation better than most of the people in this thread. The RIRA are not saying anything new, the IRA in all it's incarnations has been targeting British state economic and military targets since their inception. What they have done is merely worded it in a press release to try and garner support from a part of the republican political community who do not agree with the politics of the mainstream republican parties, they are trying to syphon support from the IRSP/INLA true republican socialist parts of the community, who still see them as just being ex-provos with no socialist political agenda.

Let us not forget that these brave men and women recently were found to have left an explosive device in an airport carpark, of course this would be able to discriminate between ordinary holiday makers and the forces of british imperialism. Also anyone who in this thread has said about phone in warnings. The RIRA phone through a warning for the Omagh attack which deliberately had the wrong area evacuated. Dead pregnant women, children, all religions attacked and killed. This is the reason why the RIRA have very limited support in Ireland, regardless of what they say.

They have also yet to prove that they have the ability to carry out a large scale attack on a mainland target, popular belief is that they are so infiltrated by security forces that they can only carry out small attacks on targets in small towns. Even after these there tends to be a spate of arrests.

At the minute the RIRA/CIRA/ONH are all organisations which thrive on rhetoric and talk, very little action to back up the claims at this point though. I would doubt they will be able to launch any form of attack on a mainland UK target, although bankers might be quite soft targets I doubt they have much in the way of security details. One would expect to see some small scale attack on a trader or other low scale bank employee. Or possibly a pipe bomb/firebomb attack on a branch of RBS or the like in a small scottish or welsh town.

If someone wishes to hit bankers where it hurts then all that is needed is an address and contact list posted on the internet for these fatcats. Then, let human nature run it's course with endless harrasment to show them that they are/can be just as vulnerable as the rest of us and at the mercy of their own actions. Just one endlessly annoyed banker may lead to a little more responsibility and accountability.

Enough is enough! and although I am not condoning the big "M" it's time the elite were made to suffer alongside those whose lives they ruin every day. NOT the innocent workers who are just doing their jobs and have little or no involvement in the decision making processes but the parasites who seem to think they are above the law and all-powerfull. I would gladly invest a little of my phone bill to call them and their families 20 times a day to give them grief and let them know they are not the big, invisible, untouchable gods they think they are.
