Living dinosaur found (+video)

I found this article and it seems legit to me. What do you think of this.

The Ropen (‘demon flyer‘) is a monstrous creature that’s terrified the natives of Papua New Guinea for thousands of years. Another smaller creature, the Duah-possibly related to the Ropen-haunts some of the far flung outlying islands.

Looks like a fregate bird to me (Fregata minor)
Altough a flying dino sounds spectaculair i am not convinced.

Definitely a frigate bird! This thread is hilarious.

I really wish it was a Pterosaur, but after a minute of research; I think we may be seeing a "Great Frigate Bird" actually.

Oh and in Video 1 :: At 2 seconds in you can see the White Underbelly of the Frigate bird. This corresponds with the photos in the databases.

you guys can be right about this but locals were amazed too and I don't think they would about a common bird on their island

The videos of the flying creatures (fregatebirds I think) are debunked but what about the picture? If the photo is real then there are withouth any doubt Pterodactyles flying around. I gues we must focus on that pic.

Unless you can corroborate that claim, we can assume the person who posted it to youtube just made it up.

and Woetzel even shot some video footage of one.

Are you telling me these proffessionals treked into the jungle to find and film these creatures and didn't take a camera with a zoom lens??

Not sure about dinosaurs but it sure sounds fishy

Your 'amateur' picture is nothing more than a purposely done photo edit. The author put the ropen in there himself, and there are two versions of it. One with a tail, and one without. I can't seem to track down the pictures origin, since tin - eye is failing on any of those images. But the originals, the author put them in and even claimed 'these are not real', or something to that effect. If I am able to locate it, I'll link it.

Also, I'm not accusing the OP of anything here, I just remember seeing what I described, and it's proving very elusive right now.
