Well, if you -want- to believe than nothing I can say will change your mind. I don't know why you think this is legitimate, seeing as how this company has faked crop circles, ghost sightings and other strange activity, but whatever. Have fun being punked.

Indeed, association may not equal a definite purpose. It's a pretty good lead though isn't it? Where else has this story been reported? What has been done to further investigations here?

Has it been confirmed that

In January 2006 in New York, the patient of a well-known psychiatrist draws the face of a man that has been repeatedly appearing in her dreams.

I take it the woman concerned came forward at some point? How else did this story become known? The psychiatrist?

That portrait lies forgotten on the psychiatrist's desk for a few days until one day another patient recognizes that face and says that the man has often visited him in his dreams.

OK, I take it the psychiatrist is known now then and has corroborated the story, that the image lay on his desk? What is his name? A cleaner may have known this, or perhapsother patients but how would they know it was a period of days until another patient recognised it?

The psychiatrist decides to send the portrait to some of his colleagues that have patients with recurrent dreams.

A number of his colleagues. Who knew that this was sent to a number of people? How did they find out?

The aim of this website is:
- to help those who have seen this man in their dreams and to foster communication among them;
- to understand who this man is and why he appears in an apparently pattern-less array of situations in the dreams of such diverse human subjects.

If the purpose is to understand who this man is I am surprised that there isn't a much more detailed record of accounts. If we believe that this is genuinely important to the owner what other contribution have they made over time? Where are the updates of their investigative reports?

Otherwise despite association does not equating to a definite purpose considering what is known of the source it is more than a little suspect, no?

I was halfway hoping to see a picture of a bald, blue man that looked like a cross between a reptillian and a vampire snake.

One night I had this horrible, horrible nightmare about such a creature, he came right up out of the walls. I woke up b/c my son was screaming - he was like 5 at the time, and when I got to his room and turned on the light, he was crazy terrified of 'the blue man.'

Whatever it was, we both had the same nightmare at the same time.

I don't believe I have. Something about that face feels evil to me. Hard to explain, but I would assume he is a "bad man" if I were to encounter him in my dreams.

Agreed. I dream almost every night, and have many different kinds of dreams. But this guys image does not strike me as friendly. I was amazed to see that he "gives advice." My first thought was he is going to kill me in my dreams.

The riddle of this face was solved recently. Inconceivable you say?

Here's the owner of that unusual mug in action;

IMO that could be the face of just any regular Joe. It doesnt really stand out much and I think the secret lies therein.

If he was in my dreams, he would have to be in a chicken suit. I mean, in my dreams being run over by a baby is normal.
