This is the entire community. Keep in mind that these communities are pretty common in Turkey. These little towns are almost always empty through out the winter and full during the summer

walking towards the beach, I was told that Yalcın's house is right in the middle to the left. One of the upper balconies

I was told that this is the exact spot Yalcın places his camera to get his recordings. I think this is very important. I've always thought that he did his recordings on an upper balcony. But apparently, he was always on the ground level

And this is the view I come home to everyday. Great place to meditate. About 5 kms away from YeniKent. I took some more pics but they came out blurry. İf you have any specific requests, just let me know. I live there anyway.

When I went there yesterday morning and started taking pictures, some people in YeniKent came up to me and asked me why I was taking pictures. I told them what it was for and they all immediately became very happy. Apparently, they are all glad about their little summer community to have made a name about this.

I wanted to meet Yalcın but they told me that he was still sleeping probably. Now get ready for this, it turns out that Yalcın is a night watchman for that community and lives there all year around. Some people called Yalcın a lunatic and some called him a genius because of the concepts he talks about. He apparently talks a great deal about dimensions, abductions, etc etc.

I asked them about the possibility of a hoax and they said that Yalcın was not at all savy in computers or cameras. Some people seem to believe him and some find him ridıcolous.

Lupelius, I applaud you for those efforts - I trust the moderators are watching!!

That's really useful stuff, and gives us a much better picture of the surroundings.

But, (naturally!!) it raises a whole pile of questions - some of which have been bugging me for quite a while.

First up, even late at night, it would seem to me that there would be many light sources in such a populated area, and it would be very difficult to take video footage at night that showed nothing but one lit object, esp in the summer season. Is that a fair comment?

You said you were at the exact spot that he *claims* to have taken the images (not sure that can be trusted, but anyway) - did you see anything that might be a contender? - I'm thinking the following possibilities:
- a satellite dish
- a streetlight (either working or not - it could be illuminated from another source)
- the prow or some other part of a boat (large or small) - are there any boats up on those stands in this region?
- a sign - even that sign in your first image was in the ball park - is it possible that yalcins ufo is in fact waste pipe fittings?!
- some feature on a rooftop, or part of a nearby or distant building
- a 'bollard' top (at an angle or even upside down!)

The last one is a long shot, as I'm not sure Yalcin is clever enough to get upside down or sideways footage with the date/time stamp the right way up, and the shots that included the moon seem to eliminate that. But sometimes it may be hard to recognise something simply because you are expecting a particular orientation.

Anyway, thank you so much for all that. Two last things:

Is it possible for you to give us some definite addresses or maybe even a lat/lon from a gps? I'd love to be able to pin down the exact spot on Google Earth.. 'Yeni Kent' doesn't pin the area down very well, sadly, although I'm confident now with your images and the Duarte/Alejandro info I can nail it down anyway, so don't fuss over this one.

Finally, if you do any more reconnoitring, can you keep those eyes peeled for any possibilities - and bear in mind that the object could be large and distant or small and nearby, and may look quite different in daytime. Er.. feel free to visit at night, and take a tripod..

As an aside, my 'feeling' is that this may be a moderate sized object (perhaps half a metre or so at least, at a distance of say fifty metres. Possibly much larger eg house or building sized at a larger distance, of course. If it is smaller, my suspicion is that he sets it up, and possibly gets a helper to lilluminate it - if that's the case, it's unlikely we will bust this case unless he comes clean.

PS - I would be interested in looking at the originals - am I pushing my luck, at all??

WHY didn't you - as a self-proclaimed investigator, do any real investigation such as is being done here?

WHY will you not post original full-resolution footage?
