There is no such thing as "Haifa Soldiers".
I know that Shayetet 13 have bases near Haifa, but their locations are supposed to be classified, and they are not in Haifa, but several miles away
from it. Haifa surely has many military bases, but they have nothing to do with SF.
And no one here trains from 9 years old, Although some people start working on their fitness from about the age of 16 (they need it in order to pass
the Gibush to certain units, but almost no one passes it).

Israel has one of the most secret military in the world. It still does not official admit the excistance and size of her basic military units. They did
give some details in 1996 of the excistance of Mossad up until then there was only speculation of this units existance.Any other info available for
Israel special forces is usually not true,They recently acknowledged the excistance of Metsada which is the unit with the eight division which make
up Mosad.there resonsible for the Assassinations,Sabotage, psychological warefare and Counterterrorism.Haifa does not exsist in the armed forces but
who knows for sure

It's not THAT secret. People who live in Israel usually know a lot about its army, since they all have to join it when they turn 18. Though some
units are indeed highly classified. And even known SF units such as Shayetet 13 (sort of like Israeli SEALs) has many operations each year, and all of
those operations remain unknown to the public (until soldiers die).
Some units, very few, are completely unknown to the public. I don't know much about those units, but I heard there are some units that work with the
mossad and the SHABAK (similar to the top secret unit 504). There are also units such as HAMAN Shhakim, many people know about it excistence, but
almost no one knows what this unit does.
BTW, did you know that our SF forces where in Iraq during gulf war 1 & 2? I'm not sure about 2, but I do know that we where searching for scuds
during the first gulf war, and units like Shaldag maybe were sent to Iraq during gulf war 2 too (probably before the war itself).

All SBS members are Marines..
Not saying the converse is true.
But all the SBS boys have to pass Marine selection first.

exscuse me?
the royal marines arnt special forces?
so the fact that thier called comando's is because the MOD just got bored and decided to call them that?
the royal marine comando's are the best trained and best paid infantry men in the world.look it up if u dont believe me.
also thank you browha for pointing out the fact that all SBS are RMC's.
they recently enabled a reg or something that allows anyone to join the SBS.

Never said that the Marines wern`t a good unit.Commando`s are not Special Forces anymore than U.S Marines,Itallian Marines,Spainish Marines every
country has Marines that dosn`t make them Special Forces. what makes them Special Forces is there operational role and structure, that is outside
conventional units tasks.Yes S.B.S are a unit withing the Marines same as Comanchio. But they operation role is differant.

what?wait 1 second here
the rangers are classified as a special forces unit yes/no?
now the royal marines are special forecs and they do both normal and sf jobs. they have a sf unit called the SBS which is the very elite but frankly
the marines can handle just about anything on thier own they are and always will be SF forces.

No Rangers are not classed as Special Forces.Marines are part of the navy and are traced back to days when like today they are based on ships and used
to protect the Navy.Rangers have a role that the British army dosn`t.The Marines role is to be used on ampihbious assaults or Helicopter assaults
launched from ships. They are used at the front line allong with any other units.Special Forces are used before a conflict and during a conflict deep
within enemy territory.Britains Special Forces are listed as The Special Boat Squadron. The Special Air Service.Pathfinders and camanchio units are
listed as specialist units within there regiments.

the rangers are classified as SF and has been stated many a time here.
i agree that the RMC does do basic stuff but thier still SF. they have the green beret for crying out loud. they are special forces no matter what way
you look at it. its like haveing a SF force on every ship. they are desgined to do basic marine jobs but they do do SF jobs 2 that means they are SF.

Just cos it`s stated hear dosn`t mean the Rangers are Special Forces. If you contact the Ministry of Defence and ask for the units that are classed as
Special Forces they will give you two units SAS & SBS.They are officially recognised.we could argue this point all night but l prefer to use this as a
accurate source. The Marines training is hard because the unit is physically challenging not because of any special tasks.

those special forces are the very elite these special forces are the bottom of the special forces ladder.what i mean is that they are specail forces
built to do both jobs spec ops and mosstly normal stuff and frankly the MOD is a stupidly run organisation.

There is no special forces ladder.you are or are not. There not graded better than the next.Special Forces were born during the first world war then
realised again in the second world war firstly in the desert campaign then in europe. The marines date back to the17th century. The ministry of defence
is only criticised by people outside of the organisation who do not understand all that is going on within it and can only operate within the budget
it is given by the govt of the day.

The Ministry of Defense still will blatantly and catergorically deny the existance of the SBS and SAS.
As to the Royal Marines, they are Commandos, and at the same time, yes, they are a degree of special forces.
