Hey ATS I came across this website that has a video of all of the nukes that were detonated between 1945 and 1998. The man who made it is named Isao Hashimoto and it is pretty crazy just how many nukes we have set of between that time and I'm sure over the past 12 years there have been many more tests.

With the amount of nukes that have been set off I'm surprised the earth is not glowing.

Here is a link to the website with the HD video. I suggest watching that video because it is much better quality than the Youtube video I am going to link below.

Link to HD Video: www.ctbto.org...

"This piece of work is a bird's eye view of the history by scaling down a month length of time into one second. No letter is used for equal messaging to all viewers without language barrier. The blinking light, sound and the numbers on the world map show when, where and how many experiments each country have conducted. I created this work for the means of an interface to the people who are yet to know of the extremely grave, but present problem of the world."

S&F. Awesome little video. I had no idea that many had been used.

The US looked like a Christmas tree for most of that video.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is a main reason for the increase in cancer and other diseases in the last 60 years.

Yea I think the U.S. really hates Nevada

The amount of radiation emitted from 2000+ nukes must be staggering.

I saw this to and I was freaking shocked by it.

Come on ! 2053 nuclear explosions !!

How much does it take to understand they wreck havoc to our planet.
I'm outraged by it.

And they still tel you the sun causes skin cancer. Pfff... What a joke !

Stupid people. The trust I've had in people doing the right thing has been greatly damaged by this video.

Over and over again they kept on detonating nukes...

The people of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were not regarded as trust worthy or something ?

Nuking the planet is wrong ! So stop doing it ! ( To all of those fly sized brain holders, involved in exploding any nuke. Whatsoever. )

reminds me of a thread that was on ATS about the authorities saying that smoking caused cancer to cover up the amount of radiation that was in the air from these tests.

it seems like where ever they tested nukes we have earthquakes now.

Wow, that was pretty, ah, informative.

Have to keep in mind, a certain amount of those were underground/underwater. I don't think underground nuclear test emitted radiation.

But it was fascinating to see, looked like a display from WHPPR.

Wonder if detonations in space were counted?

Who knows the true number, like you pointed out there were surely tests done i secret.

This video also only goes to 1998 so that gives us 12 more years of testing to add to the tally.

Between the 60's and 70's it looks like the U.S. and Russia were talking to each other in Morse code through nuclear detonations.

Not a good thing, but cool video none the less. Thanks for sharing.

You will not be in danger of any nuclear fall out or something. But the stuff that got radiated is still a hazard. Particles as small as a grain of sand could travel the globe and end up in your lungs or something.
