Make sure you are logged in. You have to log into BTS and AP separate, and if you're not logged in you won't see the "Reply" buttons.

That might be it.

I'm having trouble uploading an avatar picture. The picture is on photobucket, when I tried to enter the url in the appropriate field, it kept vanishing when I hit submit.

So I entered the 'IMG SRC' code; that stayed, but all I get is the little box that says 'image' under my screen name.

So what am I doing wrong? Or do I just need to wait a bit for the image to appear?

Why don't you post the picture right here, that would help see what could be going wrong.

Oh,no. The bird there looks way too small. Hold on a few, I'll resize it properly.

Thanks, I'm really retarded when it comes to editing functions.

I was just trying to upload it, to see if I could get that to work, then change it, & I'm having troubles there too. sigh.

I gotta learn how to work with pictures.

Now when you enter the url in the place marked "Avatar URL", you don't need the [IMG ] tags, that is just for posting pictures in threads, etc. You only need the url itself. "http......etc....jpg"

Wow, that looks great, thanks so much.

Now, can I upload it to the my ATS picture file directly from here? Or do I need to put it on my pc or photobucket first?

You can use my url, if you want to, or upload it to your photobucket account.

Remember, you don't use the [IMG ] tags, to install an avatar.

Do you want your name and/or ATS logo on it?

lol, ok thanks for taking the time...going for a cup o' tea while you do that.

I just tried, both ways--your url, and uploading to photobucket & then to my profile, and still the image box is all that is showing.

I am editorially-challenged, I tell you!

Okay, here's four different versions...

When you decide which one you want, copy the url. Then go to account settings, and Delete everything in the Avatar URL box. You were leaving bits of the previous url there.

Then paste the new url, and press submit at the bottom of the page.
