But hey brother....man I LIKE NEED YOU to PLEASE watch this 15+ minute youtube video made June 23, 2010 regarding the gulf oil disaster. Dude...this IS NOT GOOD :-/ Not to mention how convenient it was for that Top Hat failure to occur at the same time that the whole OVERBLOWN and OVER-HYPED Gen. McChrystal/Oboooooma BS that DOMINATED every mainstream propaganda station there is!! I have suspicions of my own regarding the timing of that whole thing but I will save it for now as THAT VIDEO IS TOO URGENT MAN!!

Very interesting indeed. She's very courageous.
What she says about deregulation is interesting as French fishermen complain about it too. It means deregulation is only supported by the government for the big firms, it's not good for the "little" people. So sad to see "democracies" acting agains their people.

I was thinking the same thing!

And when she said they need to call for an evacuation of their area to get away from the toxic air...my thought was "Ah-Ha! they want the people to ASK for it! Then they will preemptively quash the conspiracy theory of the forced evacs and FEMA camps! Brilliant!"

They are not stupid, they would never bring in such an outspoken opponant and give them full access unless they had a motive.

Something about this scares the hell out of me and it's Not about BP.

I agree 100% what this fellow Coonass is saying and applaud her research. But look at the website she is a member of right there on the podium.

There is a lady Cindy who is advocating that Socialism would have caused this problem to be fixed before it started.. no oil spill. See the 2nd video down.

I think that statement sends the wrong message.

If you click the link "Latest Actions" you will see the following list of "demands"

"DEMANDS

1) Stop oil drilling in the Gulf of Mexico . Full compensation, retraining, and new employment for all affected.
2) Immediately end use of dispersants. Fund all necessary scientific and medical research on human and environmental impact of dispersants and make public all findings. Immediately begin remediation of damage caused by dispersants.
3) The government and entire oil industry must allocate all necessary resources to stop and clean up the blowout gusher, prevent oil from hitting shore, protect wildlife, treat injured wildlife, and repair all devastation. Full support, including by compensation and a major public works program, must be given to peoples’ efforts on all these fronts and to save the Gulf.
4) No punishment to those taking initiative independent of BP and the government to protect the environment and public health; no gag orders on people hired, contracted, or who volunteer. Those responsible for this crime against the environment and the people should be prosecuted.
5) Full mobilization of scientists and engineers. Complete transparency and disclosure of all information and documentation, including scientific and technical data, concerning every aspect of this disaster.

Immediately protect the health of and provide all necessary equipment for everyone involved in clean up operations. Full disclosure of medical and scientific studies concerning the impacts of the oil disaster. "

Number 1, I semi agree with except he doesn't give any clue as how the Government is going to: give "new employment for all affected"

Most people are split on the stopping drilling oil issue. Wouldn't it have been better for them Not to make this # 1, and possibly re-word it to reflect a short term ban for safety checks?

Number 2, I agree with. Number 3, "and entire oil industry". Most other oil companies are going to feel like, "Why should we take part in this.. we had nothing to do with the spill!"

4 through 7 I agree with.

The problem with the above is that it is counter productive to their cause of getting BP out of the picture and better people in who will do what's right.

I wonder of the lady from the main video agrees with all these demands or if she sees they may be shooting themselves in the foot.

I plan on writing these people a letter explaining my fears. I want this to succeed but I feel they could have a much better chance if the edit some of these demands.

It is nice to have a site that provides people the ability to find vital information that the mass media does not provide. What is most troubling though is what do we do with the information once we have it. We post back and forth about what should be done, who we should write a letter or email to, then on to the next post. It is truly sad, we get to watch our world's demise. Yes, there is nothing like a front row seat to your own funeral.

This is why I love ATS. Thanks OP and all you awesome fellow ATSers contributing to this thread in an intelligent and informative way. I too have posted this link to my FB and pretty much begged my friends to share the video as well. "Knowing is half the battle".

I am concerned that Kindra will be eaten alive by the mass media in due course. So my thoughts and well wishes go out to her and her family, and to all families dealing with this event head on.

I am afraid and angry, for all of us and the earth as well. Everyday I have tried to explain to the various people in my circle the magnitude of this crime. I don't care if I'm better off talking to a wall. I am just gonna keep talking until people start listening. I hope you all can do the same.

Get your faces into the local news camera when it's doing on the spot reporting. Someone always knows someone who knows someone (etc) to connect with a journalist/camera crew. Come on people. Actually I'm trying to prepare a video compilation of all the crap going on down there to send out in masse to everyone I know. I'm not organizing anything as that would be against the ATS T&C. If anyone wants the code for the compilation (which includes links to all these videos) to send out in masse I would be more than happy to provide them. This video is about health concerns from the oil spill. Maybe it's just my ears playing tricks on me, but does the reporter REALLY say that "Those who have the higher risk of getting KILLED...." at the 1:40 time point?

Holy # I can't believe you just posted that since I know james T personally! I hate to tell you this but "James T" was my teacher in high school at Brown Deer High school. He now has a website called the national conversation and is a republican pundit and public speaker. He is EXTREME right wing and if you have listened to his shows he believes that mother earth just creates unlimited amounts of oil out and that man is not capable of damaging the earth because GOD created th earth. You can't make this # up. Go to his website and look up past podcasts on his opinions on oil.

These people won't help you. They support BP and big oil.
