This is far from an innocent person and if we have to make tough choices on funding. I do agree that the death sentence needs to be applied carefully but in this and other high profile cases, is there no doubt.

Lets save the money spent on keeping them alive.

Any chance someone has set him up this time round? He can't stand up for himself and say YES, even if that was the case. That's not what I believe but I haven't a clue either way.
However, I wouldn't like to see someone killed for what they did as a very stupid 10 year old.

I'm pretty disgusted by this comment mate. What I got from that was: "We need to save money, let's kill prisoners!".

Human life should always be of greater importance than money. Even if the human involved doesn't value human life as much as the system values his own.

So based on your argument, if we have a finite amount of Government spending, you would rather it was spent keeping this scum alive rather than using the money to fund social services which may prevent other small children from being murdered.

Nice attempt to take things out of context.

On the contrary, by your logic this man should be executed for a crime he committed when he was a 10-year old child, as well as for downloading child porn as an adult.

Social services have absolutely nothing to do with the issue. Those were only brought up by you as an after thought in an attempt to justify your ire. If funding social services is truly your main concern here, then I simply pointed out that there are other areas in which the UK can cut wasteful spending in order to support these services.

Decent human beings don't demand the death penalty for crimes committed by children or for adults downloading any form of porn. These are not crimes that warrant capital punishment.

Someone who committed murder when he was ten was caught downloading CP? What a surprise! lol... This is a non-story as far as Im concerned, obviously he is not same mentally as you and I. As long as he is somewhere where he cant hurt anyone (which he hasnt physically done since he was 10), then I dont care, and I certainly dont wish death upon him. According to the article he had 40 pictures so it must not have even been a hobby, because every other time I have read about a child porn case it is for hard drives full. I am certainly not defending him, I just think he is just mentally ill and not a threat to anyone. We can sit around and judge him from our moral high horses, or you can try to understand the confused mind of someone who would murder at the age of ten. I have spent a week in a mental hospital (unfortunately as a non-voluntarily patient) and I understand how even someone with a horribly warped mind is still just like you and me deep down.

Well this is the leading conspiracy web site, so, if we continue down this road. What was the reason for this? His new name and address are still the subject of a court order.

Nice idea but I think this is one very sick and evil person who can not help doing these things.

Spot on. More than happy to see these people dead to ensure we can spend money on important things like nurses, doctors or even social workers so we can prevent the smae happening again.

But hey, if the the life of an evil person if worth more than providing decent services to decent people in this country.................

I personally think there are much better ways for us to save money than killing people.

You have the right to your opinion and I respect your willingness to put it forward but damn mate...
