I'm not even sure what they are doing. Why do you assume they did it wrong?

In fact, it looks like they are doing another one.

Hmmm.

Maybe getting drunk before they started this WAS a bad idea after all....

Can't seem to get the tool lined up still

Yes.

Whatever they are doing, it is clear they intend what seems to be occurring.

I'm not sure what they're doing, but they just remove the second bolt.

Looks like there is a third bolt.

It still looks like he is f'ing it all up. Now there is oil coming out all over the place. Who did they hire for this job, the Captain from the Valdez?

Too funny.

I think there are 4 bolts

Yeah, 4 bolts total.

Not sure what happens after that...

I saw a show where two guys operating an ROV each had to work together to tie a knot. It was very tedious, but they did it. This stuff isn't exactly a science...

Impressive, IMO.

I just can't help but chuckle at this at times.

You just know the operator is cursing his head off every time that tool slips off.

LOL, yeah they should have added sound it would have made it way funnier. That guy would be like if this damn screwdriver doesn't go into that bolt I am going to bash my freaking brains in with a hammer.

The BP site seems to be down right now and the other site for me just shows oil gushing from 2 areas. Have they decided to let us watch this process all the way thru?

Thoughts, of operator. "righty tighty , lefty loosy, ....or is it reverse thread. doh!!.."

This is interesting to watch, I do wonder if the operator sees the view in 3D. Getting that driver into the hole needs mad skills with out depth perception.
