[color=limegreen]Three Photographs Taken - UFO over New Mexico

Published: 11:18 AM 5/5/2010
New Mexico - 05-03-10

I watched the late news and saw the weather report 5-3-10, the following day was going to be windy, so I had to go outside to move my Bonsai trees to a location that they wouldn’t be damaged by the wind.

When I went outside to do so, just before 11 pm, I looked up at the night sky and noticed an object to the west of my house hovering and changing color, I thought it strange, and thought I would run inside my house and grab my camera with my long 400mm - 800mm lens and my tripod to view this object better.

curious lightshow; offhand, I got nothing

ok, I did a little tweaking. its still just the lights in a very black background...on the plus side, it could mean that this really was high up in the sky

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/3cddd9b6d7a7.jpg[/atsimg]actually, I can now distinctly see reflections of the lights. I don't know if they're reflecting off the lens

There are so many hoaxes coming out of NM regarding UFO pics and videos. Its really hard to trust anything that comes from there.

Hmm I ran an image analysis program that can guess what digital camera took the picture based on the compression method. It came up with these models:

NIKON E2500
Nokia N73
OLYMPUS C2000Z
OLYMPUS C3040Z
PENTAX Optio 550
BlackBerry 8100

Neither of these cameras and some phones can mount 400-800 mm lenses. And I searched the net for 400-800 mm lens manufactures I had found that only canon makes that specific range.
The program also found digital signature that the picture was edited with one of these programs:
GIMP, IrfanView, idImager, FastStone Image Viewer ,NeatImage, Photomatix, XnView.

If he\she really had the 400-800 lenses than he\she paid a lot of money for them. So that means the photographer knows a great deal about taking pictures. And the camera that can support that kind of lense can take a better picture at night. With lower aperture number higher iso and probably faster shutter speed to reduce the blur.
Based on that Im not sure that this picture is real. Maybe I missed some part....

Edited to add.

I ran back outside and set up my camera, the object remained in the same place for some 7-8 minutes without any movement or sound.

This is from the poster on the ufocasebook site. If the UFO didnt move for 7-8 minutes he/she had more than enough time to take a picture that is less blurred.

All that technology and they can't fly in a straight line

Well here is what I did with the 1st UFO image. I just did some of my techniques to get this puppy to basically pop out at you. I added an emboss effect for that.

It does seem like an UFO.

I can never understand how the imaging system works on this forum.

Wow, that's some pretty fallacious reasoning...

If he\she really had the 400-800 lenses than he\she paid a lot of money for them. So that means.....
a) he/she has money to burn,
b) doesn't have money to burn but got conned at the camera store
c) got it in a divorce, inherited it
d) stole it

etc, etc.......all of which have nothing to do with "the photographer knows a great deal about taking pictures".....or maybe this is true but he/she left his tripod at the bar....

Motion blurred lights. Ain't nothin' to enhance.

The "stars" are hot pixels and/or CCD noise.

Long exposures and various moving lights. That's all these images are. Sorry for the one-liner, but I don't see what else needs adding.

Thank you for the input....
Interesting if they have 6000$ to spend.
BTW my reasoning could happen as well as yours. You don't know if the equipment is bought or inherited and etc.

Its interesting that you used an authentic picture of a beem ship as a joke lol. IMO these pictures by Mieres have never been debunked or duplicated and many people have tryed . Not trying to derail this thread , just wanted to point this out) _Peace_
