How do Aliens look at Human beings?

They probably see us as undisciplined wayward children.
They probably wonder how long we will last if they don't step in.

Firstly, dont we have to actually establish that they exist before we even try to speculate as to their nature?
Dont get me wrong i'm not bashing or ridiculing, I also hope that they do exist, but whithout knowing they exist its difficult for me to imagine what they are like, they could be completely and utterly indifferent to us with no inclination of ever contacting us, or they could be childlike in nature with no concept of fear,love,hate etc etc.

Each of these possibilities opens up another question and so on and so forth. Lets find them first and then ask them

I would like to answer your question with a thought experiment.

Imagine that pigs did not exist on the planet Earth. Never did. They never existed.

Now imagine that we found a pigs on Mars.

Pigs are smart. They are social, have friends, and roll around in their own filth. They also smell amazing when burned.

How would you view these creatures? As wayward children? As a younger humans?

Probably something like this:

If they exist they might see us as non advanced - rational thought given too much weight, which gets in the way of other abilities such as accessing the full capacity of the mind - time travel, telepathy, healing.

So basically - an earlier form of them. Still figuring things out.
