Oklah oma ObamaCare Opt-Out

"OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- The Oklahoma House has approved a bill designed to prevent the new federal health care law from applying to Oklahomans."

"The House voted 71-27 on Wednesday for the bill, which also authorizes the state to sue to keep it from taking effect."

I gotta say, I freaking LOVE my state. First sovereignty, then guns in national parks, now this. Sounds like were calling BS on the Fed

This is good news for the state of Oklahoma. They must be listening to their citizens!

Like what is going on in Arizona, the people of this country are rising up, and want to be heard.

It's obvious, that what is on the mind of the people, and what is going on in Washington, are 2 different things!

Yes I been reading on the law sue to get the HCR to the supreme court for its unconstitutionality, but the truth is that it will be the states the ones that have to fight the bill at the end.

And I am very happy that one State is taking the lead, thanks OKLA.

The powers of the republics still lives.

Woah, what do you mean? From what I've read, Oklahoma is all about and is trying to pass legislation for a state sponsored militia. I never heard that they lumped them with gangs... please elaborate.

More and more, Oklahoma politicians are listening to citizens. We're doing the right things, and making the right moves. Now if we can just get that open carry law through

We are Oklahoma...
We WILL NOT step into the 21st century...
We will continue to make the rich richer, as we give away everything our state has...
We will continue to punish the poor... How dare they not make more than $10 an hour...
We will continue to sponsor white "militias", as we criminalize mexican and black "gangs"...
We are happy in the dark ages, forget trying to catch up with the world...

I swear this state is full of morons...

It gives the individual a way to opt out. If you want to "opt in" you can. How is that moronic?

I think I just heard from one in your post.

So we don't want to be forced in to ObamaCare, what's wrong with that? Let me ask you this. Do you enjoy your freedom to choose Burger King over McDonalds? Chevy over Ford? Kmart over Walmart? Well so do we, and this legislation allows for our right to choose the health care WE want as an individual, not as an illegal government mandate.

But I'll tell you what, if your that unhappy here, maybe you should find someplace that fits better with your socialist ideas...maybe the Peoples Republic of Commyfornia would be more to your liking. Head on out pal...we won't miss you.
