A Fox News Channel producer has been caught manufacturing the news. In a recently released video a Fox News producer is seen rallying the crowd and participating in the protest at the 9-12 Tea Party Express in Washington D.C.. The video serves as damning evidence and a graphic illustration that
Fox is in the business of
manufacturing the news, rather than reporting the news.

Gregg Jarrett of Fox News announced Wednesday afternoon that Sarah Palin was drawing huge crowds promoting her book and pointed to the video, but, Think Progress said, the footage the network was showing appeared to be footage of Palin at a large McCain-Palin rally during the 2008 presidential campaign.
This comes on the heels of a similar revelation made by Jon Stewart of "The Daily Show." Stewart noticed that footage used to describe a health care reform protest was actually footage from a much larger protest held earlier in the year.
Fox News host Sean Hannity later announced that
Stewart was
right and
he apologized for the mix up.
