Nicola Rush(Robert Carlyle) from Stargate Universe
his role is brilliant and beat by far any other scifi caracteres

It's between 3 characters for me, although there are just so many I could mention.

It's either Rimmer or Kryton from Red Dwarf, or Elric of Melnibone from Michael Moorcock's Eternal Champion saga.

Hehe, here's the 'Arnold Rimmer' song from Red Dwarf, I know for a fact that seeing this again right now will put a smile on every Red Dwarf fan www.youtube.com...

Commander John J. Adams, of the United Planets Cruiser C57-D from the movie "Forbidden Planet". That was and still is a pretty tight flick!

I'd like to be able to say that my favorite Sci-fi dude was some badass space marine or robot ninja or something cool.

However, when I was younger, I always wanted to grow up and be a scientists who worked in a secret government lab with all the supposed cool hyper advanced technology.

I wanted to be like Dr. Okun from the Independence Day movie or like Q from James Bond.

I grew up to be an engineer, but I don't do anything nearly as cool as that.

I personally am a big fan of Laura Roslin, Gaius Baltar, and Kara Thrace from BSG. Nicholas Rush has done alot for Stargate Universe. Erica Evans from V--I love the actress (Elizabeth Mitchell) that portrays her.

I also think probably the best character I've ever seen is John Locke from Lost. The character development there is just crazy.

Kai from Lexx, no matter what retarded situation the Lexx crew would get into, you always knew Kai would save the day.

it's always been Luke Skywalker because of how much my life was like his.
same with Link from ocarina of time, not really sci-fi but those 2 characters related with me on so many levels it was weird.

Conan The Barbarian hands down for me and in close second is Vader and if I could have a third it would be Perseus from clash of the titans.

Well number one hands down the alien that has guided me my whole life Yoda. You just can't find any wiser.
Followed by G'Kar and Londo Mollari From Babylon 5.
After that it's pretty much a coin toss but John Sheridan, Susan Ivanova, Micheal Garibaldi. Also from Babylon 5.
Sorry its such a great show and with the characters well written it is hard to put any one of them above the others.

I like the Babylon character Talia. She was freaky.
