I keep seeing people make the statement that Sarah Palin is not suited for the Presidency.

I would really like to hear an explanation of why you think that.

Reason 1:www.youtube.com...

Reason 2:www.youtube.com...

Reason 3:www.youtube.com...

Reason 4:www.youtube.com...

You could go on and on finding reasons why she is not fit...and by the way i am a republican"you betcha"

She couldn't even handle being governor of Alaska. She resigned for a book deal. And like I said, she has a reality show now. Seriously? I actually do think she was good for Alaska... I know she gave Alaskans checks for significant amounts of money, which she got from taxing oil industries, I believe? Which I think is great, but is ironic since it sounds a lot like the "socialism" that some of her hard core followers have been spewing about.

It would be good for her to experience reality.

If I understand the actual point of this thread being about the racial make-up of Palin's supporters I think that is a non-factor.

We need to remember that Obama is a product of anti-Bush hysteria and the white left where real numbers are concerned.

Palin, or any challenger in 2012 , could likely take the White House without a single black vote assuming she appeals to enough of the white mainstream.

Tru, pity she only really appeals to the extreme elements of the far right...

But hey, she has a nice rack on her anyhow.

In that lineup...the most scary aspect would be Bachman...she is a straight up lunatic...Palin seems logical and calculated in comparison...hell, Anne Coulter seems a moderate in comparison...well, perhaps not...they could be sisters.

What's there to say?...

A terrifying prospect...though one that I am sure many Democrats are hoping for as it would be a quick and tidy race.

Both of them are great at stirring up emotions, both flounder everytime a political conversation transitions to anything remotely substantitive.

Americans enjoy a good rally now and then, but they tend to sober up when selecting a United States President and look for some depth and these two wouldn't survive a presidential debate.

Anyone remember all the conditions that were placed on the Biden/Palin debate? Both McCain and Obama were terrified that there VPs was going to say something that could not be recovered from.

There will be no repeat of a similiar safety net for Palin in a presidential bid. And Bachman...geez..she has skeletons in her closet.

Of course I am taking this way to seriously...i don't think even the TPM wants Palin to genuinely run, they just like to get thier "crazy" on once in a while.
