As I sit here, taskswapping between work, my ATS addiction, and CNN on in the background, I noted them break into the news talking about some speech about to go down with Palin and Bachman. The discussion is about how they are the face of the republican party overall...everyone else falls by the wayside

I chuckled a bit, then wondered if this would be the lineup for the 2012 republican candidates to oppose Obama.

One minor thing I noted, the camera was filming the audience, panning out, then in, etc..Something seemed a bit off while watching it...it was a large crowd.

then it hit me...there was not a single black or even brown face in the crowd...I spent time looking for any variance and none were seen...a sea of white.

incidently, I am white and I have racial pride, so I would be comfortable with that crowd, but this is not a representation of America from what I was seeing..

So, if this is the party that is pushed forward...is the likelyhood of them failing higher or lower considering the clear catering to a specific demographic?

If the Republicans hope to have a chance of winning the White House in 2012, Palin will not be anywhere on the ballot. She's not suited for the presidency, in my opinion anyway, and putting her on the ballot will do nothing but insure that Obama stays for a second term.

What if it's all a conspiracy to re-elect Obama then Palin/Bachman would be a perfect ticket because they would get the vote of the most brainwashed teabagger, Obama would be a shoe in.

Well, whoever is with Sarah Palin will most likely get more voters on their side (as-it-stands-now).

I see Palin brought in ANOTHER 10,000 plus today in Minn. (Bachmans home state): Palin can pack a crown in-you have to admit.

Minneapolis, Minnesota (CNN) - Republican hot button Sarah Palin is taking the stage Wednesday afternoon in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota, at an event that state Republicans say has drawn 10,000 supporters.

I found this but I doubt it will happen as I don't see the RNC going with two females on the main ticket. Not gonna happen.

Ok...I'm taking bets that this doesn't go past page 2 before we get someone saying they would vote for that ticket.

My god man...stop spreading dangerous ideas like this. Although...it would probably spawn a good porn spinoff.

I guess all that is missing is Culter for Secretary of State, Lauara Ingraham as chief of staff, and Michelle Malkin as Press Secretary...it would be a conservatives ultimate wet dream. Yeah...they tend to go a bit overboard (ex. Michael Steele after Obama was elected)

Well you have to ask yourself 3 things.

1. How many men will vote with their eyes and penises?
2. How many women will vote based upon the candidates gender?
3. How many people are just plain out retarded?

Your forgetting Limbaugh as Secretary of Education, and Beck as Press Secretary

I keep seeing people make the statement that Sarah Palin is not suited for the Presidency.

I would really like to hear an explanation of why you think that. Frankly I think she is the single most qualified person in the Republican political arena. If you are a Democrat however, then your comment is just out of the fear (knowledge) that she will roll over Zero like a steamroller and your opinion on the subject is worthless.

You're in Moldova, apparently something must be wrong with their water systems that has made you dillusional. Palin can draw a crowd and inspire people *cough* Retards *cough*. Ooops now I will have to appologize because I said retard! That lady is a joke, I don't doubt that she could win if enough retards learn how to read. I agree with Tancredo we need a literacy test before you can vote, this way we will keep Palin out of office.

Pst.. they still think they got the better end of the deal with Obama.

And, Palin is easy to pick on so they do. Not a one can admit she can draw VOTERS in-and that is what it is all about.

This scares me
it's not that she is a woman has no effect
I just plain do not like her
she's a flip flopper
she was a Republican, then she was
a tea partier, then a talk show host
and reporter, now what???
She abandoned McCain in the last
campaign at the end and blasted him.
She is like a bad case of STD
she just wont go away

I fully endorse Palin to be frontrunner for 12. I would contribute to her campaign to be nominated in fact if possible.

I truely want her to be going toe to toe with Obama. This is a absolute certainty.

Why? meh...who cares. I support anyone supporting her to be the lead.

As far as who I, as a liberal, would truely be concerned over...would be Ron Paul. That is a intellectual difference and challenge that Obama would have big issues with. Paul ultimately drops all forms of social conservatism and leaves that to the family and community..wants a non-interventionist outlook on the world, and is fiscally conservative as his clarion call. This attitude highlighted would truely cause concern when backed by a major party in a two party system.

Sarah...If God is a good God and with a sense of humor, he will bring her to the front ticket of the reps..

Not every gathering of people has to look like a goddamn United Nations meeting.

And her chances are nil. Not a very bright woman.

There will not be a Bachman/Palin ticket in 2012. Although the notion does serve to conjure up some pleasant images of a double Cougar ticket. Meowwww!!

I think Palin will be used on the fund raising circuit and then she will anticipate a cabinet position of some sort.

OR....

1.) How many people will vote themselves money?
2.) How many blacks will vote simply because of the candidates color of skin?
3.) How many people are just plain out retarded?

Answers - well, that depends... I'd have to check out how many votes Obama got!

Put Palin head to head in an open forum without teleprompters and earbuds and I think she could easily go toe to toe with Obama. The man can't think outside the box. Just look at what happened to him when asked about his favorite White Sox players at the home opener for the Nationals. The man was stunned and rambled his way back to the Oakland A's via the Chicago Cubs and never answered the question. Duhhh... Duhhh....

To add... This would be FANTASTIC if it happened. You could ABSOLUTELY GUARANTEE a third party steam-rolling over the old two-party system. Only the most gullible asshats would vote for Obama, only the right-wing Christian militia would vote for Palin and the rest of us, possessing both intelligence and common sense would install a REAL government for the people!!!
