Neither, water can be found in a multitude of sources as well as food. Water weighs approx. 8lbs per gallon, to heavy to carry. Food = wild game and other sources. Abandoned homes, stores, etc will have TONS of canned food to be scavenged. Learn to live off your surroundings, more things are edible and capable of sustaining you than you realize.

Well to edit my original post, I didn't think it was about zombies.
BUT since it is....
I change my weapon to a tactical shotgun with extended 10+ magazine.
Or an AR15, with under mount grenade launcher.
If I'm going zombie hunting, I'm goin all out.

Hmmmm well,

I would go with,

1. A) Semi-Auto Shotgun or M16 B) Machete (both easily accessible)

2. No Music, you need to listen to your surroundings.

3. My new pair of high top shoes, with built in arch support, gel pads and a hard plastic coating for insulation. (feet are important!)

4. I would wear my Military Forest Camo Fatigues.

5. Doctor or Doc for short. I am very intelligent for my age and am a doctor in a way already

6. I would carry a bottle or two of water. You never know when you may be thirsty. Maybe a protein bar too, for light travel and a snack.

7. Make a safe house

I must be honest, I thought this would be moved into BTS by now ( where it belongs ).

There are so many OUT there threads on this site, and thats is what MOST of the forums are about on ATS.

However, I feel the SURVIVAL forum should be a forum where REAL situations are hashed over.

Please do not confuse reality with video games my friends.

When the time comes to survive ( SURVIVAL forum should help with this ) it won't be zombies of undead virtual reality stars you will be fighting. It will be REAL soldiers, more than likely under the disguise of UN "Peace" keepers.

And you will not have good old Woody Harrelson to protect you.

What if there is some type of "RAGE" VACCINE OR VIRUS this can be a true reality and yes the many forces you speak of can potentially be transformed if they were to encounter this vaccine or virus. The possibility does exist especially since the bible does mention a time when the dead will walk with HADES THE PALE HORSE RIDER WHO BRINGS WITH HIM HADES THE UN DEAD BUT DEAD......So you seem to be about survival, considering a zombie infection is not to far of reality friend.

Zombies from a mutant virus or toxin MAY happen ( if you say so ) but I PROMISE when you are fighting the zombies like Will Smith in I AM Legend the very LAST thing your gonna worry about is if someone calls you by your code name "skeeter-pie" or is playing the proper Wu-Tang song
