I know, and so should the war protesters, the 9-11 truthers, the birthers, and all the others groups that question the government. Then you'll be left with just the lobbyists.

Why don't these teabaggers realize the good Obamais doing for them. For gods sake he is fighting several wars to protect their freedom. If it wasn't for Obama you guys could be speaking Iraqi or afganistani. THe U.S could have been taken over by now if it wasn't for Obama and Bush.

I'm gonna just assume your post is Sarcasm because It would be suicide for Any Country to Attack US Land, There are more armed Citizens than even China's Army and they have the largest standing Army in the World, Armed American Citizens outnumber them easily by 10 to 1. Not a chance in hell any Country could over take the USA even without our Military's help.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

Didnt we just go through some "rah rah" asschewing about political trolling and hacks a few days ago?
I attend 4 meetings per month in my area, local and regional.
Tea Party attendee's are both Republican and Democrat.
This is nothing more than a sheetstarting thread.
Where's the "rah rah" now?

Treason is a charge invented by winners as an excuse for hanging the losers.

Ben Franklin

When they started the revolution, or more accurately, when they signed the Declaration, they knew if they lost, they lost everything. They pledged their "lives fortunes and sacred honor," a quote that seems laughable in today's moral climate.

I'd be willing to bet that most people who think they have an opinion have not even studied the history of the Republic, and don't understand the events that led up to its formation. Without this knowledge, one cannot understand the decay of our liberty nor the subsequent outrage of conservatives, marginalized in the mainstream by phony charges of racism.

This is great, who ever made that sign is doing nothing wrong. They have there right to free speech and to peacefully assemble. Right on to the person who made this. I see nothing wrong with it. Instead of worrying about how taboo this sign is, why not worry about why people are making these signs. People are pissed I know I am loosing everything. Worry about how we are all getting S*** on every day.

Armed insurrection is last-resort territory. These guys toting these signs are a little premature. We have the elections this year and in 2012 to get things back on track. If we're ignored again after we replace all the current vermin on the hill, then maybe I'll make a sign of my own.

I will add this, though: I don't see anything wrong with the sign. It's a warning to TPTB that the people will take matters into their own hands if they don't feel they are being represented. Plenty of people feel the same way, not just a few protesting "Tea Baggers". The MSM that is doing this name-calling and attempts to marginalize - they are simply painting a target on their back if the SHTF. They should cover it as real news rather than selling the BS propaganda that they are.

edit to add 2nd graph.

I really hope some of you guys are trolling. As I stated earlier these people putting up this stuff may be idiotic but my God not nearly as bad as what has happened. For a mob this size it is amazingly stayed under control.

Wanted to drag this post up here. People on the left have to realize this is the same ole, same ole. You cannot cast stones when your own party has done the same also when the tides were turned.

I find such actions on either side to be the most retarded elements of the party whom have the right to do this, and have the right to be labelled a retard by people with a IQ higher than a turnip.

What needs to happen is our media outlets stop promoting fear and start promoting constructive criticism of actual points. Bush was not the devil, but I was certainly no fan (Rumsfield and Ashcroft however the jury is still out). but calling for the death of a sitting president is simply retarded. I personally spent my time talking to my conservative friends about issues they seen gray areas on during his presidency and did more in swaying votes than any bush bashing event. I didn't need to resort to hate speech, I used the issue and actual conservative philosophies to open a few eyes.

Anyhow, both partys should widely denounce the worst elements of their partys...hold rallys with respectful terms...dont put devil horns on whomever the president is. The only problem with this method is that the media will be far more interested in covering the extremes than covering respectful differences. So...maybe shoot a kitten or something, I donno.

I bet you the bad boys in the Tea Party weren't even real Tea Party folks, this sounds like a deliberate attempt to deface the Tea Party by the media and the powers that be.

No, you do NOT get me right. We need to throw out the current congress and replace them with new representatives who will listen to the wishes of the people - Republicans AND Democrats.

Lately both parties have been hell bent on growing government to the point where everyone will be required to suck off the teat of the state to get by, and I am one of those who believe that we are meant to be free, not slaves to the state. The lot of them are corrupt on power and need to be tossed out on their ass and a new batch given a chance to follow the constitution. It's a better method than storming the hill with guns blazing, don't you think? I'm for trying all our options before I start loading up my mags.

The Tea Party is not made up of Republicans, it is made up of everyone. It represents the PEOPLE who are fed up... you know what, go read some threads about the tea party and stop believing everything you hear on MSNBC and CNN.

I think 50/50. A good way to discredit a group is to infiltrate it and show the most exaggerated moments of insanity and pretend this is the movement of the group itself. Both sides would do this.

Reminds me of the anti-globalist movements where anarchist groups would go and start destroying stuff in every peaceful march simply for fun..no point, no greater desire than to simply become vandals for a day and have the heat taken off them. They would film it and have a great laugh. The movement could be anything so long as they got to go out and break stuff under the cover of a greater movement.

I question if this is really about health care reform. How can any of you argue for these greedy self serving elected officials? Both parties including independents are so much removed from what the average American faces everyday. They have the best health care (which they don't pay into), they don't pay social security taxes, they have the best retirement system, their salary and other benefits surpass the average Joe, corporate America has their ear! Do you honestly think the conservatives or the democrats have your best interests at heart? Until this self serving party system is abolished, it's all going to come down to rooting for your favorite team. The issues mean nothing.

While the teaparty could spawn a new timothy McVeigh this attitude is nothing new.

[edit on 20-3-2010 by Southern Guardian]

Tim McVeigh and Oklahoma city was a inside job just like 9/11. Part of it being done was to try and demonize militia from what I can tell in the after events. That bombing was an obvious set up almost as bad as 9/11 showing that the truck bomb could in no way cause the damage that was done.
This is another attempt to demonize the Tea Party by the establishment, it is clear cut and obvious because of all the media stories flying around about it, probably more than the real story of Barry trying to pass this socialist health care bill.

Thats simple thinking...you vote out the incumbant and replace with a new...and guess what, you will have the same exact senario of you hating everyone except for the guy you voted for...and more complaints that the government isn't listening.

Consider how someone gets elected for just a brief moment...they promise to fight for the district, fight for jobs, fight for stuff to bring home...they do, they get contracts, the districts are happy..but the people the next district over become angry because of the corrupt politician demanding pork barrel spending.
Now, consider the alternative...a guy running for congress saying he will bring nothing home to the district, that he will demand no federal money comes to the district and its time to fend for ourselves...he will have no chance in hell when running against the guy saying he is going to bring jobs and fed money to the town.

You can replace the incumbants year after year with the same result..this is not a congress problem, its a people philosophy problem

You know the saying, when you point a finger at them, theres 3 pointing back at you.

Lately both parties have been hell bent on growing government to the point where everyone will be required to suck off the teat of the state to get by,
a trait that has been going on since FDR, and every president since has trumped it. Its not about shrinking government, because that simply will never happen...its about stopping ineffective growth.

The Tea Party is not made up of Republicans,

Come on...lets be honest for a moment. The tea party today is a corporate sponsored GOP movement with a very flimsy disguise over it...if your honestly stating that the tea party of today is the same exact movement that Ron Paul was associated with, then your just being dishonest with yourself...even Ron Paul says it has changed and been accepted as the defacto republican platform talking points verses a concerned focus group about fiscal conservatism (which I am a supporter of, hense why I support this bill).

I agree, everyone in congress is corrupt...except my guy from my district whom is for us and brings home the bacon. The rest are greedy, self serving morons that need to be replaced...
again, except my guy...but all of your districts...you have thieves and liars.

How does my representitive do it going into such a den time and time again.

Gun violence? The republic was born with gun violence.

And the people will die and be thrown in camps if "gun violence" is used.

As today is a new age so must be the means with in which we attain our freedoms. Instead of relying on a barbaric and ancient way of acquiring this so called peace and freedom , which also only begets more death and suffering.

Why not instead beat them at their own game and just quit playing it. Quit relying on them to fix all the problems and realize that our best interests will never be theirs and that following their path will only lead to the M.A.D. of anything that we could hope to achieve with the knowledge and foresight we are so lucky to have of what these scumbags have in store for us.

So I propose that we no longer live by this broke and dying system and we live life the way we want to. Without having to worry about paying the bills so long as you take responsibility for yourself and the lives you love. So long as we aspire to see better days and always...always reach for a higher level of understanding and compassion. Compassion for what we are so ungratefully taking advantage of as we speak. We all need to realize that life is a precious thing and it shouldn't be wasted fighting over whether or not these d##chebags will ever get their act straight or fighting in any way for that matter, and instead of living by their rules and the way they do things which rhymes with grape and village lol _javascript:icon('
').
Instead, why not live by the ways of nature and the universe as these are our true "founding fathers" and mind you war is far from being something I would call natural. I also believe the monetary system as a whole either needs to be properly regulated or taking down completely as it is doing nothing but causing ever more conflict and restlessness throughout the world. It also only allows the already rich and elite to stay in those positions of power and barely gives in any room for competition. Also is it just me or isnt pretty sad when the reps with the bigger political piggy bank and the most empty promises are going to be the people "representing" us. When their only interest is keeping their masters happy and their own back pocket just as happy, it is time to change the system for something better.

I have a few ideas of my own and hope one day to see them come to fruition. Until then rest easy and never look to violence for the answer
PEACE
JC

You're kidding me, right? You are simply repeating what you heard on Chris Matthews or whatever MSM outlet. You really are unaware of what is going on , so I am going to accept the fact that some of you are just not getting it. You're obviously anti-Republican, a mindset that will serve no purpose going forward.

The moderators insistence on civil debate fails to take into consideration that the "truth" is no longer taken for granted. Fifty years of brainwashing in the schools and by the liberal media has turned people who tell the truth into "haters" which we are not.

You got that right. Frustrating, isn't it?

Perhaps off-topic, but I went to college when I was a little older than my classmates - I changed majors and didn't know what I wanted to pursue right away. My final major was Broadcasting. I am not in broadcasting now because of the liberal indoctrination that was being conducted at this college, and I would assume, every college. It turned me off to the whole industry. The instructors infused their curriculum with liberal ideaologies. I watched the younger students blindly absorb these ideas while I sat in class and grew silently outraged by what I was experiencing. In retrospect, I should have challenged them on their ideas.

I think that when I went to college, it was that transition period between mostly honest journalism and mostly biased journalism, and having the advantage of being a bit older, the ideologies did not take.

So when I talk about propaganda in the MSM, I know what I am speaking of. I saw it being TAUGHT to broadcasting students.
