Well... it is technically legal according to the constitution, but it is illegal by our current laws.

I think this is a pretty stupid thing to turn to violence over, where were they when the Patriot Act was enacted? Where were they when we invaded Iraq? Where were they when we bailed out Wall Street the first time? Are you beginning to see a pattern here?

They are only going to turn out when a democrat is in office, they may bitch and moan about republicans but that is just b.s. They are basically in bed with the republicans, atleast the people at the top of the Tea Party latter are anyways.

Well if they get their guns we'll get ours and have our selves an old fashioned showdown, hell yeah! Chaos in America, it was only a matter of time.

Republicans had their chance last decade and failed. People are pissed. Voting has not worked.
Protest have not worked.
Calling our repesenatives hasen't worked.
Bus loads of grand-ma and grand-pa marching the halls of congress hasent' worked.

How much longer do we follow the law while our leaders keep lying to us, ignoring us and taking our fruits of labor ?
I hate violence but it seems the only option left which like stated by Misoir is our right as American Citizens .
And its also the only way to wake up the sheeple.

As someone who supports the tea party movement in a non violent manner, I am personally offended by your thread name. Maybe you are not aware th term "teabagger" refers to a derogotory sexual act, and what you certianly don't get is that the tea party movement has nothing to do with partisan politics. We are simply people fed up with the current state that BOTH parties are responsible for. Resulting to childish name calling exposes you for what you are... A child

some people think that you need to get a permit to gather in large groups or protest. G20 showed that peaceful protesters can be beaten just because. As one poster put it, we've tried the carrots, we may need to start thinking about using the sticks.

Washington is not full of our nations leaders, but our nations representatives and they need to listen or get kicked out. And the parties choose who they want to run for office and back with money, so voting people out is ok, but we'll just get a different face doing the same thing.

This is the type of violence that the Republicans and their anti-American supporters have been striving for ever since the Obama Administration took office with the pledge to clean up the GOP's mess.

This is the type of misleading reporting being done by not so credible low level news agencies. I don't remember hearing anything violent happening at any protests today. In fact I didn't even know that there was a protest today.

For the people that will come out and call the Tea Party individuals crazies and so on, keep in mind that no matter what party or political affiliations you have there is sure to be some of these types of individuals in your category as well.

Well considered America was founded by literally overthrowing their former government and instating a new one. I would say it isn't un-american at all. Perhaps stupid, but not unamerican.

The "Teabaggers" label goes back to the beginning of the tea party movement, when apparently the people first organizing it didn't realize the subcultural connotations of that particular term. One still hears it sometimes in the media.

I find this scary and sad. I find it most disheartening that voting, protesting, writing letters, and all of the other non-violent means we have at our disposal have failed. I don't know a single person, democrat or republican, who is happy with this health care bill, much less the amazing amount of time it has taken to get to where we are now.

I don't like seeing threats of gun violence, either. That will only serve to hurt us all in the long run, in my opinion. It will lead to actual violence most likely, as well as leading to stricter gun control laws, which will further strip us of our rapidly dwindling civil liberties.

If riots break out, who really benefits? Who loses most in the long run? Will it really stop the healthcare bill? Things to ponder....

It is interesting, as someone else pointed out, that the MainStreamMedia is avoiding this particular tea party event almost completely.

First off, as was pointed out by others the title should be changed and as it reads now is considered political trolling. Secondly, one persons sign doesn't reflect the feelings of anyone in any group. Sensationalizing stories such as this are further proof of left leaning bias in the media......wonder what will happen when the shoe is on the other foot with them?
