I do not know how you did it. It must be one hell of a big chart

Now Ashley has to come up with a real stumper.

Yay. That was fun.

I actually did it by lists then charts.

At first I went through all the clues grouping the hints together in the form of lists. All the hints including cars were matched together, all the clues for houses were matched together, etc. Then I looked at those lists to see which category gave the clearest clues in order to base the chart off of. That turned out to be house color.

Once you know it's in the right order, I filled in everything we knew for a fact like the German living in the black house, for example. Then a couple things were trial and error then it finally panned out. lol

I got a real puzzler for you.

I do not know if it's really a riddle. Probably more of a problem.

Ok here it goes:

A guy somehow got stuck on a frictionless ice lake.
After some time, he made it to the land.

There is no wind. No external forces. Just this guy and the ice lake.

How did he do it?

yay!

okies...

this is probably real easy

I can sizzle like bacon,
I am made with an egg,
I have plenty of backbone, but lack a good leg,
I peel layers like onions, but still remain whole,
I can be long, like a flagpole, yet fit in a hole,
What am I?

Now steady friend,
Remembered as remaindered gleam.
Earth's enemy, long dead.

A star?

(as the light from it took ages to get here, so it could be long dead, but we get the remaining gleam...)

Neat optical illusion. If you calculate the area of each triangle (red and green), you see that the main triangle isn't a real triangle (the hypotenuse is bent!)... Sneaky...but I have to admit, that until finding the area, I was really stumped....

I'd love to make this out of wooden blocks, and really play with kids' minds...

If I'm right, I'll open it up for anyone to put a riddle out....

A barrel of water weighs 100 pounds. What must you add to it to make it weigh 50 pounds?
