Please help me name my kitty..

I have had a cat for over 4 years now, and have never got around to giving her a name. The way I figured it, there was just her and me and since she didn't know my name, I didn't need to know hers.

She comes to me when she wants something, and I just have to start talking and she shows up. If she sees I am on the phone, she goes away. No need for a name. If I am giving her heck for whatever, she will just stare at me until I am finished, yawn, and turn her back on me. Sort of like most women..

But I have noticed that when I try and explain this to anyone I get a lot of strange looks and remarks like "how can you do that?". So I need help giving my cat a name.

When I got her, she loved to steal food off my plate and one night even brought a half eaten covered in syrup pancake to bed.

Although very quiet and hardly ever saying a word,she can make her feelings known with what I call, the devil look.

You will notice that as a kitten, she had very stumpy legs.

But she grew up and became a very beautiful cat as you can see.

Now she thinks that she owns the house and of course, just lays down in any spot that is in the way.

And did I mention that she has also gotten quite a bit larger. Compare her in this pic as compared to the other with the same toy.

You can also see that she gets into anything I do and gets covered in sawdust and the like. So what say you. What should I call this cat with no name. Please try and come up with something that will not embarrass her as she will just take it out on me and we have quite a good relationship so far. Thanks..

Yes I am actually being serious,a cat named fish.
She looks very adorable.

You mine as well name her "HEY.......GET OFF OF THAT!!!!!".

Tribe....since you have a Viking already, how about calling her Freya? It's a really pretty name and might suit her personality...cats are very goddesslike anyway, to me at least.

Well since you've had her for 4 years already with no name, how about making it simple and just calling her Kitty. Nothing wrong with that IMO. Growing up I actually had a cat named Kitty.

I would name her Feather.

she looks like one of my cats - who also has very stumpy legs - even as an adult

does yours walk like a badger (hind end much higher than the front)?

Well, I'm sitting here, and my two friends have suggested two names :

Sawdust

...and...

Miss Kitty (think Gunsmoke)

However, I particularly like this one, it's my choice :

My cat doesn't have a name either, I did name him as a wee baby, but never used it, so he gets all sorts of terms of endearment, and usually a non word lol!

I think she looks like a "SPARKS" to me, all that fur standing out from her electric personality.

Prrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrretty.

It needs a name that is easy to say. Since you probly arent used to saying its name. Something that is almost fun to say. like:

Fe Fe (pronounced fee fee)
Fia pronounced fee ah
Jazz
Kira
LAcy

Just a few to ponder. My cats name is Arkas. Which is what my mom wanted me to be named, thank goodness I wasnt.
