Have you been to a football-field sized enclosed space with no discernable boundaries? The walls/floor glow with a bright light. The space seems spherical. The edges of the space look foggy. When you looked at the ceiling, it was really bright, but there were no discernable light fixtures or unevenness in light.

There were hundreds of people there in groups of two or three. Everyone seemed happy, excited. Everyone carried something but I won't tell you what it is.

The floor was level and grey. I call it the Grey Room, even though the light was so bright it wasn't quite white, but almost.

Before I was in my living room. I took a step into grey nothingness with someone who I couldn't see. I took another step and suddenly I was in the grey room.

I have a friend who also went at the same time I did, but she didn't step into the grey at the same time I did. She says she walked onto a platform that was above the rest of the grey room. There was a ramp that people walked down to get to the floor. She was also accompanied by someone, but it wasn't me. She also doesn't know who it was.

We both strongly feel that we have a purpose. The time isn't yet. Put we are fully prepared to go somewhere. Everyone in that room had a job to do. I think it was the same job. We feel strongly that it has something to do with being a center of calm in the middle of a storm. We have met others who have been in the Grey Room. One in China. One in Minnesota.

This is not a hoax. I am genuinely seeking. I am looking for others who are "waiting."

Yes, we were fully awake. We went willing. We had a choice. We were invited. It was part of process. We had to pass a series of tests.

Were you asleep and moved there and work up there? Or, were you always asleep and you remember because you were dreaming? What did you do when you got there? Who was with you? Who did you see? What did you see?

Tell me more about it. What did you bring with you?

I was in an astral place and come to think, it was more white, but very much like you described.

Once I sat and talked with Gloria Steinem and Gertrude Stein. I do not recall the conversation.

Once was a romantic situation.

I cannot recall the third at the moment.

I think we are talking about different things.

To my knowledge, we were not medically tested on. However, one of us was told my an Ear/Nose/Throat specialist that she had multiple sinus surgeries. She never had any.

We both have been told were were pregnant before when it was our first pregnancies. That made it difficult because doctors assumed we knew things we didn't and they were angry with us for "lying."

Over the years we have looked for descriptions of the "room." I haven't found anything. Most talk about surgical tables. There were none to be seen. It was like a huge indoor football field, except there were no lines. It is difficult to describe the vastness of this indoor space because we couldn't see the end of it.

There were literally HUNDREDS of people with us. They were widely spaced in groups of two or three. Everyone was really excited. They were talking to each other in those small groups, but it was such a huge space that it wasn't loud.

I knew my friend was somewhere in the space with me, but I didn't see her because there were too many groups. She never saw who she was with. She says the person always stayed a little behind her so she didn't see him/her/it, but she could hear. The person/being directed her where to go.

I saw and spoke to two other people. One guy in my group had a towel wrapped around him. He was still soaking wet. He said he had been in the bathtub and hadn't been given much time to get ready. The other was a woman, older. I didn't recognize either one of them.

Thank you for elaborating further on your experience but in speaking about your experiences you will face much ridicule as I have done. A liar however would not put themselves through that unless they are quite frankly, masochistic and aching for attention.

For what it is worth I believe you yes, there are many accounts of this room.

Anyway, I cannot make out the reasons for the grey room other than as a holding area, meaning the infrastructure that is hidden must be quite extensive, and what I would give to be able to get out of that room and just freely roam.

The main reason I dropped into this thread was the “waiting” hooked me and as it is not the first time I have read about the waiting aspect to this phenomenon I had to ask.

I hope you find your answers and my friendly advice to you is not to be diverted by those that might wish to offload bad energies onto you – there is an ignore feature and there is no shame in making use of it.

Cool. I feel like I am meant to shake things up. I abhor the old ways the status quo if you will. For the past few years a fire burns within for me to be a wedge between the old way and the new. Maybe you will be the ones I look to for recognition and support. Certainly one of us needs to be a pillar of strength. I too have peace as my guiding light. I feel like there can be no peace until the old ways are gone...and the only way to change this planet is to hold the old to their own truth.

Maybe we shall meet in the middle as one poster told me a few months back.

Thank you for the excellent advice. This is my first thread. So far everyone has been very kind.

I know there are negative people out there. Ironically, I think that's why I am here. Not here as in ATS, but here as in life. I know there are many more like me who are hiding. I was hiding, too.

I have been a long time reader of ATS, but have never joined. I was afraid of being found. Last night I read the thread about New Zealand. I, too, remember it being in another spot. It shocked me enough to come out of hiding. I probably wouldn't have done so otherwise.

It doesn't really matter now if they find me, whoever "they" are. It feels like it is already too late. It feels like it doesn't matter if I hide any more. It feels like it is time.

I have been searching for the others quietly since 1994. It just feels like whatever it is is soon. I feel I need to speak so the others know it is okay. I want/need them to know that I am here. That we are here. That they are not alone and are not crazy.

I have told this story before but almost no one can "hear it." It was like talking to a wall. It was like everything I said just disappeared. But recently it is as if people can hear me. I think for some reason, people can hear me now.

I'm not meant to shake things up. I'm meant to hold things together when everyone else is freaking out. I am calm. I am the eye of the storm. There will be a bunch of us calm spots in the storm. I have no idea what the storm is. I have no idea what people are doing. I just know that I will appear to be calm. People will find me. Even if they don't, it doesn't matter. I will anchor my area.

My friend is also an anchor. She moved to be closer to me. She lived two days away by car. As she was driving here, she felt extreme pressure to return to her house. She was actually yelled at my whomever/whatever and was told that she was not allowed to move because she would mess up the plans if she left.

My friend cried hysterically, but kept driving. She yelled, 'I have free will! That's what it means to be human! You'll have to just change your plan!" With that, the physical weight/psychic pressure went away.
