The main thing that irratates me is people who suppourt the "Official Story" useing the word, or calling me a "truther" as if they know where I stand.

There are 100's of different kinds of truthers. No planers, Demolition experts, planes rerouted, no passengers on the planes, Remote controlled planes, fly-overs, missiles,LIHOP, MIHOP, ect, ect ,ect.

But there is only 1 kind, 1 kind of "official Story" supporter. Those that believe in the 9/11 commision report, and every word the governemt said.

So don't act like you know ME of MY beliefs, if you subscribe to the "Official Story".

But I DO KNOW Yours, and that is a Fact, I can read it word for word in the "9/11 commission report".

So put your wide brush you paint every person who questions the "official story" away. Because you make your self look foolish.

You lump me in with the likes of No Planers, just because I wanna know why Building 7 was never mentioned in the 9/11 commision Report? Or because I find it just a tad bit odd that there wasn't more video of the pentagon crash?

This also makes you look even more foolish.

Sorry, but the "Official Story" want's me to believe too many "conspiracies" had to take place on the same day. I just can't believe that.

Not to mention when you think of this case like a detective. You should look at Who had Motive? Who stood the MOST to gain by what happened on 9/11?? I'll tell you who. The U.S. government.

Don't call me a truther like you know EXACTLY what my theories might be. I'm a free-thinker. I just wan't a new/real investigation into the events of 9/11, now that people have had time to calm down, and not go on knee-jerk reactions like, We gotta nuke the middle East back to the Stone age for THIS!!! or whatever you felt on that day.

I don't pretend to know exactly how everything went down on 9/11, and anyone who claims to, (ie, the "official story" believers) is the real fool, in my opinion.

OS believers think that fire can cause a demolition

And "truthers" believe that fire has no effect on structures.

THIS....THIS is the EXACT TRIPE I'm talking about.

I have no idea what fire does to steel. I don't claim to.

But I'm a truther cause I don't believe the "Official Story".

So according to you, HOOPER, I believe fire has no effect on structures, yes?

Do you see the point, of this wide brush you people(people who sling this word "truther" around) use.

This is quite upsetting to me, and probably alot of people as well.

You people (people useing the word truther, as if there is a book we and an exact theory we all subscribe to) really need to stop it, and address individuals, and stop grouping people who all have different opinions.

I have a name, and it's not "Truther". You should start addressing people by thier names IF you have a point to make.

And you know what? In my opinion the OS makes sense, I actually used to believe the OS was BS but by looking with an open mind and examining BOTH sides I have changed my mind.

Are there unanswered questions? Sure when an event of this magnitude there will not be 100% closure.

Great sir.

Sounds like you would be for another investigation.

Thats all we truthers want.

Lets find and answer the unanswered questions.

WHEN DID SEEKING THE TRUTH BECOME A BAD THING.??

There I fixed it for you. *sighs*

....and yes I agree with your point. All I wan't is a new, unbiased investigation.

The OP said that this is a painfull subject and that statement is more than accurate. Please, everyone take this into account when speaking of this subject.

Too many questions left un-answered.

The truth may be more than horrifying.

May God have mercy on their souls.

I used a wide brush response to address a widely brushed and misleading statement that was wholly without merit.

Really, think about the statement - "fires cause demolitions". It doesn't even make sense, its like saying rain causes cars.

All I have to say is which will make the "Official Story" of 9/11 absolutely false are:

The majority of the hijackers were from Saudi Arabia and we invade Afghanistan?

Then we invade Iraq for WMD which had NOTHING to do with 9/11?

Now we are invading Yemen, Haiti, and about to take over Lebanon, Syria, Iran, Venezuela, etc. because of "terrorism" being spread?

Who's really the evil ones behind the scenes?

Who's trying to rush down a 5,000 page healthcare bill that NO congressman has said they will read down our throats?

Who's taking the liberties away and keeps saying America is a Democracy when it's not?

America is a CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC, but the President and his goons keep saying it's a Democracy, which is completely false. Not to mention a Democracy is NOT a free country because the 51% make the rules, and the other 49% will HAVE to follow what the others want. How's that freedom? (And it doesn't help when the Media can easily brainwash that 51% to make stupid decisions.)

Who keeps bailing out their partners who funded their campaigns?

Who wants to put body scanners in airports?

Who wants to access your bank accounts and financial statements?

Who has taken away peoples' freedom of speech?

Who's involved in the Drug Trafficking and Scandals for Money Laundering?

There's Bigger, Badder, Men behinds the scenes than someone hiding in a cave 3,000 miles away.

The psychopaths are not there, they are over here running the country downhill to bring in Zionist Socialism.

That's what you have to be thinking about, and it all started with 9/11...

The "Official" story is BS...

I definitely agree with you Nola. "Truthers" have various theories that make sense to them and it seems that OS "believers" think there is only 1 truth movement. What "believers" don't understand is that "truthers" all agree on only 1 point; and that is that the OS and 9/11 commission report are lies.

I mean, why can't we have a new and independent investigation of 9/11? They spent $1.50 on the first one; why not go all out and spend $5 for a REAL investigation? I think there might be an extra 10-20 mil in all the trillions that we just gave out for the bailouts.

This goes with basically any debate.

Facts, no opinions, no personal attacks.

In a arbitrated debate, the side who attacks the other with degrading remarks will lose.

People like Bill O'Reilly will lose to a 3rd grader in a debate.

I respect the intentions of the OP but, i've come to the point where i just don't care to convince people anymore. People on both sides of this argument have strong emotional reasons to believe as they do. You may never overcome those needs in most people.

I think people who broadly accept the "OS", if you want to call it that, are very well aware that truthers have a wide range of beliefs. This is one of the frustrations, we are not debating any single alternative view and it is constantly morphing.
Another investigation would not satisfy any truther if it found no government conspiracy and it could only ever satisfy some truthers if it's findings co-incided with their particular niche view. Doesn't make a further investigation a very attractive prospect when it would cost money and just add a further layer of conspiracy with cries of whitewash etc from most.

When asked the question of Government invovlement in the 911 events,

some 67% of people believe , the Government hasn't told the whole

story.

Thats a lot of people losing faith in the Government, or lost it.

Why be afraid of a Open Investigation.

It would heal the country at a time , when healing would help.

The 'OS" side believe in no wrong doing , So what is the problem.

The truth shall set you free.

Thanks Alfie1. You just confirmed what Nola was talking about. You took a brush and just painted the entire truth movement with one stroke. You did exactly what she said is the problem with the people who believe the OS. Thank you.

I don't know what that poll was but the result is virtually meaningless. I would be in a 67% who believed the US government was not telling the whole truth about 9/11 events. I am surprised that 23 % apparently think they were. I don't believe that most governments are completely truthful most of the time.

Far cry from that to believing they are mass-murderers though. I think that truthers in general are actually diverting attention away from things that should be investigated, like failures of intelligence and not joining up the dots, in favour of loopy no-planes, missiles, cd etc allegations which have no basis.

Welcome to the Truther Side Alfie.

All we want is to separate the wheat from the chaff.

Lets answer your questions, with all the other questions.

Time to stop running from the Truth.

May I weigh in and suggest that the CIA and it's other friends will have people on both sides (on here and elsewhere) stirring wrongful lines of debate, and generally knocking the proper lines of enquiry out of the ballpark?

If all of you guys all think you're right (for and against), and the other folks are wrong, that's fine. You have your settled opinions. The constant vitriole and insults, the constant 'fudging' of lines of enquiry just seems too consistent.

We know for a fact that the U.S. government and others are out there trying to 'squash' proper coherent analysis of the events. So does it not stand to reason that many of you on here might not be 'genuine' ATS users?

The best way to scupper any topic in terms of its' cogent legitimacy is to make it look like 'nutjob' discussion. It will then be discarded by all and sundry. The more you argue amongst yourselves, the sillier you will look.

Save the discussion, report, analyse and file the facts. Then when you have something concrete, present the case. That will seperate fact from fiction then.

Parallex.

9/11 Commission Counsel: Government Agreed to Lie About 9/11

New book from man tasked by government to help investigate attacks unveils how "official story is almost entirely untrue.

The book unveils how "the public had been seriously misled about what occurred during the morning of the attacks," and Farmer himself states that "at some level of the government, at some point in time...there was an agreement not to tell the truth about what happened."
