That massive replica swarm after the 7.2 is just jaw dropping. It's like the entire fault is ripping open. (That may be what is happening). I hope geologists are there now taking GPS readings.

SOMETHING is happening there. And all that kinetic energy is traveling north in the fault, right into Cali.... Just a BAD situation.

That 7.2 swarm of replicas is probably the largest 4 day swarm I've ever seen on that map--even more that the 8.8 Chilean quake!

Were way past the part in the movie when THAT guy goes BUT theres no REAL proof" and everyone wants to put a bullet in him ,,, sorry but u know the part. OK
4. We may be actually saving lives here so lets all pull together ok,, and remember positive people bring about positive electrons then they opps sorry LOL

The two you put up were both TDH, one was the SHZ channel and the other the EHZ channel so I would expect them to be the same

This is from VFP.UW..EHZ.2010.097

What I have for the Trough is VTH.UW..EHZ.2010.097

This station is 60 miles from TDH and does not even see it. The TDH plot you put up is SHZ on 100 mV so quite sensitive. Basically all I see here is minor local events(s)

On a separate note, I do believe that the actual Indonesia quake is at 7.7 and the 7.2 must be a different measurement. I believe this because I feel that the USGS with a mag. that high in that location, would scour the information promptly.

Found what I was looking for confirming that it was a 7.7 on the M-type=teleseismic moment magnitude scale and reported by Indonesian stations as 7.2 on the Richter scale.

It would be so much easier if everyone used the same scales like degrees C and Kilometres and Litres and Kilos and grams and hectoPascals

I would add however that there are some serious depth differences which also may explain some of the discrepancy.

After the 7.2 quake, there was a 6.6 Quake in California!?

I am unsure of what is going on exactly, I wish I knew. In my opinion, it appears the Pacific Plate wants to do something because it keeps - yes - ping pong-ing (is that a word?) so to speak round and round. it almost reminds me of that old game what was it called - pong (thank's daughter) with the Smaller surrounding plates being the paddles - and taking a beating on their back sides. I do not think there is a way to fix the windshield, Mother Earth does her own thing and at the moment it appears to me she is very stressed.

The 6.6 earthquake was deleted. It looks like the USGS as to hide something!

No no no not from within but a wave passes through,,,,and heats everything up as it does ie heat energy think microwave,,the energy must be released, this is a thought to think bigger "outside the box"
