EMSC have just upgraded their web site.
I like it, some of the features are taken from the Mexican site, like the Google Maps epicentre location maps.
I had to find my old Bookmarked page again and add it to my Speed Dial grid page on firefox.
New EMSC Quake List Page

BTW that Oaxaca one was a 5.9mb, not sure what type of magnitude the 6.5 is?

Yeah its showed pretty good here at Karori on the other side of the Pacific.
Its the 2nd big one on the graph, the first one is the Fiji one.
Amazing how just 0.1 magnitude can make such a difference, and how the Oaxaca one looks bigger despite being smaller by 0.1 Mw and further away.
The Fiji quake was way deeper at 536km, may account for them looking fairly equal in energy on the graph.

Okay, well - I thought after yesterdays rumble around Cali followed by the 2 larger quakes that it would settle down. This has not happened or should I say it settled down for a moment - but Cali area is once again shaking all around - Hence - IMHO we are not done and something much larger is brewing - Batten down the hatches all!!! - Not trying to spook anyone - just voiceing MHO.
