You are comparing cable vs. non cable then. I would also contend that your Network Big Three have a much more diverse viewership than you contend. Fox News trounces MSNBC and CNN combined, by your logic should they not at least equal Fox's viewership, given the same media and a supposed 20/80 bias?

Even if the combined results were 5-6 times Fox's numbers why would the Obama and the Whitehouse get all bent out of shape over Fox News and a viewership that probably didn't even vote for him?

They would only be 18% to 20%, that would leave 80% for the Whitehouse. Guess that's not enough, or maybe they don't have that 80%?? You figure it out.

I only have a brother who lives in Florida and who like me is a veteran who does not like the redistributing of income.
So no I do not have family nor am I in any way shape manner or form employed by FOXS news.
my options are those of a 12 year ex US NAVY veteran who first voted for president at the age of 18.

The thing that strikes me as funny and also kind of proves a point is that you don't see Conservatives running around screaming take MSNBC off the air because it is a danger to society.

That is because we don't run around whining and complaining when things don't go our way.

However Liberals cannot stop crying and screaming over something as simple as Fox News.

This was no accident. The WH deliberately took on Fox because they want to make them look good. Everyone who is not in line watches Fox. Without Fox people would look somewhere else for their news and the elite wouldn't have any control at all.

I was refering to GE and an Obama supporter heading up a Media outlet Much like Ole W. and FOX - I understand your views of redistributing our income. But let me ask you this what are your views on Oh I don't know just flat out stealing our income and baseing it on total lies and scare tactics. Or better yet - Spend our surplus and bankrupt the US treasury, creating the biggest record of annual deficit in history- or better yet (since everyone is so stuck on healthcare right now and given your's as well my family background) cutting healthcare benefits for war veterans? Nice job copying and pasting. Most of that list I would agree applies to most conservatives but not most teabaggers. As a conservative I did not even find most of them insulting, but rather true.

The thing that always strikes me about most Progressives is their selfish attitude and the fact that they don't seem to care whether our country can afford their particular programs.

It kind of reminds me of a child at the grocery who throws a fit when his parents don't buy him a candybar, because they are trying to manage their money so they can put real food on the table. The poor kid is to stupid and selfish to understand that his parent has a good reason to say no, and that they are doing it for the good of the family.

The ED guy on MSNBC is a prime example of this type of childish behavior. I have seen that man practically role on the floor in a tantrum when people say a Public Option or Single Payer is not practical and destroy the nation. He has even said he doesn't care how they pay it as long as Progressives get their little way.

Progessives left unchecked will destory this nation. They always make me think of the saying that the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

1)only a veteran should be commander in chief,because only a veteran knows what it is like to be out there on the point of the spear.
2)the Federal reserve is a giant ponzi scheme instituted by european banking interests (Rothchilds,Rockafellers,Mellon,etc)to control the wealth of the USA by redistributing our hard earned taxes.
3)Barack Obama is a closet communist like his cousin who sealed his birth records,the Prime minster of Kenya and thus he surrounds himself with communists.
4)Cutting veteran benefits is a dishonorable act
5)The stimulus money that has been spend has all gone to people and organizations that helped to elect Obama,none of it has created 1 fracking job.
6)The supporters of Obamacare are drafting bills(using cut and paste) behind secret closed doors in congress because they do not want the AMERICAN people to see or heard what they are doing before they do it,just like good communists everywhere who fear the light of day and the truth.

FoxNews, for all its faults, and it has many; is the only news organ, outside the internet, that seems to give a damn about disagreeing with the White House...

Yes, I know your opinion of FoxNews doesn't agree with mine, and to be quite honest, I think you're mistaken...but, you've certainly got that right. When the White House attempts to silence, in whatever form, the Fifth Estate...we all have reason to be very, very worried.

2) The primary motivation for creating the Federal Reserve System was to address banking panics - I believe it was the fed reserve act in 1913, President Wilson.
3) Really?! How many more cousins does he have; Rajula, Odinga, Cheney, Brad Pitt...Didn't they produce his Hawiian birth certificate...something to the tune of "I, Dr. Chiyome Fukino, director of the Hawaii State Department of Health, have seen the original vital records maintained on file by the Hawaii State Department of Health verifying Barack Hussein Obama was born in Hawaii and is a natural-born American citizen.

5) He's been in office 1 year not 8 - I know plenty of people who have obtained jobs (myself being one) Ironically for some of the very same financial institutions being "Bailed out" after basically being forced to take TARP funds - I work for one currently and 2 others prior to this (I keep people in their homes). Ironically a vast number of the employees are Anti Obama (this includes the execs who are now having their salarys cut in half).
6) I only assume you have seen or read this personally then? I find it interesting that a large # of people anti "Obama care" don't know exactly what is entailed themselves because of getting their info from word of mouth and usually have private health care themselves so they don't have to worry about it. Watch the same people get laid off or have some hardship fall upon them where they can't afford health care and then become ill - then that plan won't sound like such a bad idea in my opinion. As for going behind closed doors so we don't know what's going on - what else is new? 9/11 commission - "Patriot" Act. Do you think society as a whole would be able to contain itself if it knew half the information that is and has always been kept from us or covered up?

Who says Obama supporters were "tricked"? Did it ever occur to you that there is a significant number of voters who legitimitley call themselves socialists or or who have a socialist lean.

The number of people watching Fox is completely meaningless. History has proved time and time again that the majority in any given population is just as fallible as the minority. I'm not saying that MSNBC is right or any more legitimate of a news network. Both Fox and MSNBC are so obviously partisan that it is a mistake to consider any of their employees true journalists.

People need to wake up to the fact that watching Fox and agreeing with everything they do and say is just as ridiculous as Obama worshiping fanatics or religious fundamentalists.

In defense of Fox I will say that they do once in a while provide legitimate conservative criticism which is refreshing to hear, but you have to sit through a lot of ad hominem attacks and distortions of the truth and sometimes even outright lies to get to it. MSNBC doesn't provide any legitimate conservative criticism but they have been highly critical of the human rights violations that have continued under Obama that is equally refreshing to hear.

Fox's viewership seems much more interested in demonizing health care reform and playing Mcarthy than in critically examining the despicable number of human rights violations and not to mention the two unjust wars that continue to happen under Obama.

Unlike many people I have read hr3200 (us govt printed office)all 1031 or so pages. there are many sections which disturb me,especially the cuts in medicare.
I have also read MAO's little red book,Mein Kampf ,King James bible,Das Kapital and it is simple communism and captialism cannot co-exist,so you need to choose what you are for ,Me I am for a free market ie captialism,which means if a bank or company fails,it fails.
Sending stimulus money to companies or banks so their unionised employees
will keep their jobs is wrong.
And before you get me wrong,I am unemployed,collecting UE benefits and have no health insurance.
The fact that REID and PELOSI are drafting Congressional bills behind closed doors which should be printed and debated before voting should set off alarms.
Perhaps we should thank Obama the communist for his stupidity in trying to railroad thru Obamacare because now a majority of AMERICANS have awaken to the common bs in Washington D.C. and will hold all representatives accountable from here on in.
