Can someone enlighten me in the similarities between the GeStaPo and the white house? I find that a very farfetched comparism.
IF the white house were to be compared to a such institution, don't you people think it would be more like the StaSi in the DDR?

This is my question. Who is next? Gods forbid you actually disagree with the White House now. Tow the line, or get labeled. Is the "Fairness Doctrine" next? When do they draw the line? Are just web folks next? Would I be shut out?

I read this yesterday thinking, I don't agree with it, but an interesting argument. .

Last I heard FOX was way ahead of CNN. How is that Possible?

I'm slightly bothered by the fuss made about Rush Limbaugh (I don't know how to spell his name). He was not allowed to make a bid on a team due to his political stance. I think discrimination like that crosses a scary line.
I never had a problem with Ted Turner owning the Braves.

It's a case of double standard. The same people that have defamed Rush, are the ones that have rushed to judgement on any number of racial cases, only to be proven wrong.

Rev. Al Sharton said today on Hardball with Chris Mathews that Rush's own people, the group who submitted his application, withdrew it after serious criticism. The NFL or the owners of the team had nothing to do with it.


Also, Rush Limbaugh makes dramatic statements that could bring controversy to the team, things like comparing watching an NFL football game to watching a street brawl between LA gangs (something I found to be completely racist and inexcusable), with the right's only defense being "hey you said dumb things, too, he deserves a second chance"

I saw that piece yesterday and I was amazed. In her own words stated before a high school class she exemplifies the work and philosophy of Mao. Simply mind altering. Obama knows how to pick them.
