I used to be a british soldier, and iraq american soldiers fired on us all the time in so called blue on blues. We shot back and killed a few, you had better believe it! If they are gonna shoot at us thier allies and friends do you think that they wont get you too huh?

An example, my best mate Fusilier Leech was blown away by your stupid trigger happy reserve A10 pilots a day after the first iraq war was stopped! Beggars belief! These guys are supposed to be tank buster specialists but couldnt tell a brit APC from a russian made one
. Another example, when i was in kuwait i was with a bunch of USMC. A US M1 Abrams tank went past and they were like "wow, whats that?" i said "dude, thats your abrams MBT!." Couldnt even recognise your own kit!!! Lets just say we got our own back on an exercise in Seattle!! Against rangers lol, p$$Sies!
Then tried it on again in gulf war 2, firing at us! So this time we fired back.... They didnt do it again!! Dont believe me? Go google it! Your troops suck and if you thik for one moment they wont try to decieve you, fire on you? Well they do every day! Your police do it all the time! Waco is another example, the state having no second thought about killing thier own citizens........ I would worry if i were you!!!

Hi, the file is corrupted. Can you please reupload it? Preferably rapidshare as megaupload sometimes require that you download the toolbar.

thanks

Your post reminds of that BBC footage in Iraq. A yank soldier fired on a defenseless Iraqi lying on his back. Just like that.

What you highlighted in the red circle is probably a smoke alarm.

Two smoke alarms in the same room less then 5 feet away from each other??
I thought that too but not both circles.

You are such a joke. You can't count yourself a solider because you played call of duty too many times. You haven't served in any unit and if you had the PLEASURE and HONOR to even share a combat field with the greatest fighting unit on earth (any armed force from the US), you should have realized that you weren't in any danger with them there. But I don't imagine your would realize that as your forefather's weren't much of soliders either as we kicked your sorry @sses out of the US a few hundred years ago.
Keep playing xbox and let the MEN who know what they are doing serve in the armed forces.

I'm not trying to call all Brits or other foreign soliders out on this. The US has established a great relationship with REAL soliders from all different nations and it is appreciated. I won't let one wanna be douche bag ruin it for everyone.

For those that live in the US, sleep soundly and go about your life knowing that our brothers and sisters, fathers and mothers, uncle and aunts are serving in the most powerful armed force on the planet and aren't looking to make us into targets.

Your post reminds me of something I would read from someone who doesn't appreciate the sacrifices being made by those serving in any armed service, regardless of the nation. Why don't you get back to reading the Huffington Post and try to chime in with something useful next time. You make a great argument for putting an age check on this site.

I just redownloaded the file and it is not corrupted. Maybe it is your player. I am using VLC media player to play it.

VLC media player can be found here:
www.videolan.org...

Edit:
Also I have not been prompted for any toolbar so I do not see it as an issue.

Uh, no offence, Roadblock - but you are not doing yourself any favours with those kinds of comments. You are coming across as rude, ignorant and perhaps also a little bit dim.

I'm getting an image of you sitting in your little bedroom surrounded by American flags, staring glassy-eyed at your computer screen as you robotically mutter 'Yes we can! Yes we can! Yes we can.......!'

I don't believe you. Sorry, but you offer no evidence of your service and your demeanor and lingo pinpoints you as being a fraud. I don't think any military in this world is as competent as people would like to believe, but what you have said is a joke coming from any man with any service in any unit in any military on this globe. I am aware blue on blue fire is a threat, and was more so when we first put boots on Iraqi soil in 2003. If you understand the concept of killboxes then you understand that most blue on blue comes from miscommunication about friendly locations. My buddy is actually an A-10 pilot in the USAF, and he went into detail about a few instances where British or German units would be in a he and his wingman's assigned KB, without proper notification to tactical air control operations. He never fired on friendly APC's, transport vehicles or armor because he and his wingman were trained well enough to identify friendly units, regardless of his orders to eliminate any armor or military style transports in his KB. War is one big Cluster-F--k, as you should know if you have ever actually served and been deployed. If you think for a minute that "most" U.S. troops are that ignorant then I would either have to label you a liar with no actual military experience, a hateful idiot looking to rip on the U.S., or an unfortunate person who got some pretty crappy first hand experience with our troops.
As to the other point, which is a good one, in this thread...A MAJORITY of our troops hate, i mean HATE the government and our chosen politicians. MOST are more aware that they declared an oath to the PEOPLE of this country, and not its leaders, than any conspiracy theorist or fear-mongering idiot is...believe me. The only way military action would take place against the people of this country is from an external force. Even then, if you think foreign military, or even PMC's will be allowed to conduct any type of combat operations on our soil in any massive way, then you are selling yourself, your countrymen, and your military short.

Well, I have to disagree with the last post. Over here in the UK, American troops are actually pretty notorious for being overly-anxious and trigger happy, and quite a few high profile incident have been reported and in fact investigated involving US troops firing on our guys.

You might argue that this is just media bias, or whatever, but I'm just reporting what I've read time and time again. There are lots of stories in the back issues of newspapers of this happening if you have the time to search them out.

I don't blame the Americans on this site for defending their troops, but what if there are certain incidents which don't receive coverage over there, and which you lot therefore don't know much about? This could be quite an interesting example of media propaganda in operation!

Your post reminds me of something I would read from someone who thinks their troops are some of the most honorable men in the world. Not realizing that most of them are boneheaded 18 year olds who can't get into college and can't defeat cavemen if their lives depended on it. Why don't you go back to watching Fox News and try to open your eyes that the conservative base will soon go the way of the dinosaurs. You make a great argument for putting a sanity check on this site.

Not the case, friend. It is highly publicized here whenever "friendly fire" incidents occur. I was simply stating that war is a cluster-f--k and that no matter your training or intentions, things like this will happen. Many times it involves reservists or national guard because they are generally not as prepared for battle (mentally) as our full time grunts. I also like the fact that no mention was made of US on US fire. We've had quite a few instances of bombs being dropped in the wrong place or armor/aircraft firing on their own men by accident. Few people understand the complexity in mounting the types of offensive action that allied troops make over there. Our (NATO) units strike with range and precision never-before seen in military operations. When units are that mobile and you have a multitude of branches, nations and civilians, accidents are almost unavoidable. The fact that US forces are generally responsible for these blue on blue incidents stems from the fact that US forces are the ones conducting a majority of strikes. If just one platoon or group fails to accurately or expediently report their position, and/or those reports are not communicated clearly in the chain of command then you can rarely blame the actual troops for the error. Pilots performing strikes at night are not always able to clearly identify the green (NV) or white/black (IR) units they are attacking. They have to rely on accurate intel from their command.

I used to live in an apartment that had two smoke detectors within three feet of one another. One was above the front door on the wall, the other was nearby, but on the ceiling. We couldn't figure out why. But another time in a different apartment we found out that one of the vents, was not a vent, but merely the metal front part screwed into solid wall. IMO, most apartments make no sense.

Only blue on blue I know of is the Iraqi Army or Iraqi Police's "Death Blossom" that happens all the time. We just duck or take cover and let the rounds bounce off until they run out of ammo or until they hear us to stop shooting. Combat is a cluster f***.

What do you do when you're just standing and you hear weapons fire or rounds flying right pass you? Most people would freak out, even trained soldiers. This is how I see a lot of casualties, people don't know what to do or freeze up.

Now, to tell a real grunt from a wanna be. Real grunt will call out distance, direction, target and make the person pay for shooting at them. When I see non infantry out in sector, they just freak while we run towards the weapons fire instead of hiding and letting the enemy take control of the situation; if you let them do it you're dead.

Seriously, I cleared neighborhoods that haven't seen any military troops around for 3+ months and when we show up, everyone tells us to stay because it's the safest they felt in a long time. Sad, we will clear the whole neighborhood and hand it over to the local army or other military forces and we heard from our chain of command one week later, they lost the neighborhood again.

"joe.com" rumors are more accurate than *leaked* info from upper echelon, sad to say. Only time will tell if a *rumored info* is real or not. From what I can tell in the video, it looks like a standard old school barracks room, with a smoke detector and a sprinkler system. I worked with a lot of PSYOPS in Iraq, they were afraid to go out with non combat MOS, and truthfully, they wore too much armor, carry to much equipment and have a PSD all the time. We told them all the time, "why are you wearing so much s***. If you get shot, I'm ripping everything off because I'm not carrying your ass with that much useless gear."

I have to give props to the Estonia soldiers that we see all the time. Last time we were blown up by a IED, the Estonians just stood there and looked at us like, hahaha you got blown up and not us. They ended up sending 2 soldiers to trace the trigger wire with no squad, vehicle or any support while we had to regroup and conduct a damage and causality assessment. They have more balls than most soldiers I seen in combat.

"observe, orient, decide, react" the split second with observe and orient = life or death, only personnel that gone through that training will know what I mean because you have that slip second advantage against the enemy.
