You know, I do think america is full of idiots. But not for the reasons this jerk off is stating.

He's essentially saying "Anyone who isn't liberal is a moron"

But I don't understand why anyone watches him. He's just the liberal version of the un-funny Dennis Miller.

He's not a knee jerk liberal. In fact, he said if Ron Paul had won the nomination he would have voted for him. He is self-described "independent" and "civil libertarian". Disliking Bush and the neo-cons immensely does not make you a liberal. I don't think there is a person the planet who dislikes Cheney or Palin more than me and I am not a "liberal".

I have some views that some would consider "liberal" and some people would describe as "conservative". Depending upon whom you are discussing me with you will get a variety of answers about "what" I am.

People feel way too comfortable with labels and use them to write people off when we ought to be looking for commonality.

Just my two cents.

It is not so much that Americana are unintelligent. Americans have the ability to learn. They choose not to because they have been so crippled by technology (moreso than other countries) and fueled by pride (whatever we do is "the best") that they rest on laurels earned by others and avail themselves of the opportunities in front of them.

I agree that Bill Maher comes off as a snot, but Joe Plumber and some of these other guys come off equally annoying. They have Stockholm Syndrome. Joe Plumber didn't get a dime from the Republican bailout of the fall, but he kept talking about how he was so afraid of socialism because it was going to raise taxes on him. Okay, he's taking it in the rear from the banks and credit companies that arbitrarily raise interest rates far beyond Fed recommendations, inflating goods and lowering income in such a manner that the damage extends well beyond a tax hike, but.... Republicans still good, they still care, they love America... and yet he can't when pressed name one thing they did for him.

The Republican machine is like the good looking, cheating husband that tells you what you want to hear while screwing around on you behind your back.

Democrats are like the sixteen year old kid who suddenly knows everything and tries to tell you all about life. They act like upstarts and snots. Even when they get stuff right you don't want to listen to them because the way they present it is so nasty and condescending.

I am so sick of what the MSM is feeding us. I'm sick of their marketing campaigns. Both sides are lying to us, but as long as they keep us sniping over labels they control us.

We choose to embrace materialism and "stuff" over substance and value. We choose to concern ourselves with the image or facade of something and never look behind it. This has digested in our culture and I honestly don't see an easy way out of it.

You'd think that with all the money he makes he'd get that schnozz fixed. He looks like a kid with his face pressed up against the candy store window.

The country isn't stupid, just the people.

I agree. I think the dumbing down of the educational system has succeeded amazingly well.

I agree. I am sick of both parties and their constant bickering and lying. They are still arguing about where to put the deck chairs while the #ing ship is sinking fast.
